Unauthorized charge
I was notified by my bank this morning of this unauthorized charge of $50.97. My bank account is now frozen until this and another unauthorized charge are cleared up.

released my photo to oodle.com, and then falsified my information
I am a member of match.com. On Sept. 13th., I entered my profile name into Google, and up it came on oodle.com.
It said where I was from and my age, and false information was entered. It showed that I am a single mother of 2.
I am a widow with no children. In the blank space for a photo, It showed no photo, but I hit on it anyway and up came the newest photo that I have on match.com.
I complained to match.com immediately. When I searched a minute later, all the information had been taken off oodle.com.
I wrote back because it was still showing that I am a mother of 2 and single on bing.com and that my situation could not be rectified because I look like a liar.

Unauthorized transaction
Match.com

WARNING TO ALL: I purchased 6 months membership with Match.com, I cancelled my policy one week before it expired, Match.com then used my credit card details again and took 6months more from my credit card. Two months later I receive a letter from my bank about charges for purchases made, but I knew I had the money in the account, so I checked. Looking back to the 19th of January a payment was made to Match..com I rang them up and asked them what happen, they said sorry and refunded the money 1months later, promising to pay the banking charges too. Only thing is I only received the money they unauthorized took not the banking charges, I'm having to get Trading Standards involve now.

This is dishonest and cowardly of them to not pay all the monies back, so be warned what who you let have your credit card details with over the internet.

Fraud
I know this guy by the name of MORIS WILLIAMS, who claims his wife passed away 5 years ago, while give birth to his second child and he has one son who is 11 years old. He claims he has one fashion shop in UK, Stratford - MOWILL FASHION SHOP. And having two cars. He emailed me from match.com. and from there we chatted at yahoo or msn.
He always claims his webcam spoilt and cannot let me see his face, but he always send me some modellish photos that i do doubt he the person.
He is holding an UK line that starts with +4470, that i later found out this is international call divert. But i have doubt on him. Still i give him chance to be friend.
Thing goes to peak when he said he is bring his son to Benin, Nigeria to get his goods. That i feel so weird. Then after that, he was involved in a robbery that he and his son lost his passport. But somehow he managed to clear that and go back to UK.
But since then his UK line always has nigerian song ring tone, that really trigger my doubts to him. But i remain silent.
Two weeks ago, he told me that he has to go back to benin to get his container back to UK. The day of his departure from benin back to Lagos, he still tell me that he is still one hour away from Lagos. Then there is totally no news about him.
I tried to call him, both his nigeria and UK line -but it does not get through, until few days ago. Someone claims that he is being kidnapped. And only let Moris talk 2 sentences to me. And tell me to pay ransom. Of course, I didn't do so. But I email to UK high comm. In Nigeria. And I also file a request to nigeria Police.
I hereby alert all the girls on this. Attached is how the fraud people using this pretty photos to cheat.
And just be aware, this fraud fellow does not able to differentiate live and leave, this is his typical typo. So when he mimic his son, his son has the same typo. And he will tell his dad is italian, he worked in greece as construction supervisor, then he is now taking over his dad shop in UK. And he is quite good in dress designing...very interesting story line...but be aware, they are asking for money, the ransom they ask me to pay is 20k usd! Then interesting part, is they din call for ransom, they wait you to call to ask for ransom from you...
And MORIS's birthday is 11 dec. And he claims he stays at 42 lympslone garden, peckham, stratford.

Fraudulent credit card charge
Just checked my bank account online and found a fraudulent charge from WMV*MATCH.COM 800-326-5161 for $43.54.
I googled it and got a complain on this site, apparently I am not the only one.
I have never been to the website.
If this happens to you cancel your card immediately. I do not know what happened here, but its obviously a scam and I have initiated a dispute to get the money back.

I can't believe this same crap has been happening with Match.com for at least the last year and a half (12/08 was the first similar complaint I saw), and they havent been sued out of business.

Tell the BBB of Dallas Texas
If you want to STOP match.com from taking money out of your account file a complaint with the BBB on line and tell them what they are doing to you. The information I posted is correct and that is their corporate offices address and phone number. Do not allow Match.com to take money out of your account or charge your credit cards. STOP them in their tracks, yes they do have felons, dirty cops and other undesirables on their website waiting to hurt many of the women who log on and join. They do not guarantee your safety nor do they care about your online complaint blogs. As long as the ads run nationwide and people sign up their bottom line is the money they can make off of you. You are all smart, well educated people use the systems in place to STOP them from hurting you and the millions of others out here looking for love. They are a corrupt company who only cares about making money and they are not going to ever close your accounts unless you go through the right channels.

Complain to the FBI at fbi.gov, let them start monitoring their website for felons, killers and others who should not be ont he site. Use your head and file complaints through legal sites that will help you.

Good luck and be safe

NIGERIAN ROMANCE SCAM
I was always reluctant to internet dating as I am very "old school". I registered on the three day trial on match.com. On the same day I was approached by many but one caught my attention. We chatted for hours and hours, next day..the same things. We had so much in common that I started to think the match.com really works! On the third day he asked me to go to Yahoo messenger and to delete my profile from match as he wanted to be exclusive.
After two weeks and many promises of forever love, sending flowers and brain manipulation; he asked for money. I knew then and there that this was a scam!
There should be more screening done when it comes to internet dating.
Romance Scam is the new mafia and needs to stop!

This individual who calls himself Kelly Morgan (living in Orlando but working in Nigeria) probably used a stolen ccard to purchase membership as well as the flowers. A verification of the credit card at the time of registration should at least screen these monsters.

Ladies beware, Kelly is coming for you!!!

False Promise of 6 months gurantee
I subscribed for their "6 months guarantee" program which PROMISES the member if he/she has not found the right one, he/she will automatically get another 6 months free membership. Well, it just turned out this promise is nothing more than a catch. My 6 months membership just got terminated without any notification. I called the customer care to see what happened to their "6 months guarantee", they told me that they wouldn't be able to provide that due to my "lack of activities". I told them I have been active by trying different methods of communications such as phone and personal emails etc. they said they need see the "progress" of having at least 5 new emails every month. Then I told them if I wasn't being active, why would I bother to call them to active my membership instead of just letting go? I even told them that I know they give free membership to some people in order to keep them on this site, my date told me that he just keep getting free monthly
membership because match.com wants to keep him. Not to mention my request is totally legitimate abiding by the contract. I am so upset and disappointed with their fake promise and hostile customer services. Now I am disgusted by this site and wouldn't get on there anyway. It's all about them making money not helping other people as they "PROMISE"!
