Mathison Motors Inc. is the WORST company "car dealer" I have ever had the mis-fortune to work with. We went to them because of thier "WE Say Yes" moto... BIG MISTAKE!!! They say yes alright, and once they have your money, they have no regard for any problems and safety issues there after. Thier sales tactics are as follows; (1) they tell you that you are guarenteed to be financed by them. (2) Then you take thier vehicles for a test drive, and once you return, you tell them any problems the vehicle has. At this point they "promise" to make ALL repairs the vehicle needs and they also "promise to have it done in a timely manner. (3) Then it comes down to the actual discussion of the loan, and first they will ask you what you can afford. You give them a figure, what fits in to your budget, then the game begins. They usually dont have anything in the price range you quoted, they tell you the monthly payments will be higher, but you are getting a good quality car. NO YOU ARENT!!! The van we chose to buy had, steering problems, leaky heater core, the timing belt needed replacing, the door locks needed fixing, the oil light kept coming on, the traction control didnt work, the windshield had a long crack across it, radio needed unlocking, the rear sliding door would open while driving, and there was barely any heat. We had this van in thier shop 6 times, and each time we were told they would completely repair all the issues. All this started back in 12/2010. Today, 2/1/2011, we no longer have the van, the repairs were not done, and we are fighting them to get our down payment back. We have the BBB involved and also the Attorney general. We have inquired on several occassions, asking Mathison for the name of the manager, but they refuse this information. Mathison has now placed the vehicle back on the lot for sale! Whoever buys this van will not be safe, your children who are sitting in the back seats could fall out! I mean the door just slides open while the vehicle is in motion!!! This is a serious safety issue that should be attended to! There has been recalls on the vehicle, and this is just one more thing that they failed to mention. So in conclusion... Mathison may say yes, but you should definitely say NO! DONT BUY FROM MATHISON MOTORS!!! YOU WILL WISH YOU NEVER WALKED IN THE DOOR!!
