Paid for an extra-long mattress on Tuesday 8/31/10 and was told to pick it up on Thursday 9/2/10. After getting off work and arranging to borrow a pick-up, I was greeted with the statement "Oh, I meant to call you", to which I replied "That is not the same thing as actually calling me".
After a great deal of consternation, I stated I wanted my money back. I was then told a credit would take two weeks to process. After I left, I realized that was simply not a true statement. She had my order confirmation with the signed credit card slip; simply crediting my account for an uncompleted transaction was within my consumer rights in Maryland.
Course, none of us read these complaints until after we are each burned by poor service...
