Hello travelocity team,
Please tell me what is happening with my airline tickets that I purchased about 1 month ago. I booked 3 tickets to Hartford, CT and was emailed yesterday June 19, 2011 that I had 2 days to get back to travelocity. I called customer support when I saw email because after 48 hours they might not refund booking price. I called 1 day after the email was posted in my email at 1:45 am because of urgency of message. I talked to Manilla, Phillipines. I was put on hold like 3-4 times with 3-15 minute wait times on hold. I was nice to them and they confirmed that flight wasn't taking place and I needed to call back in morning when airline opened. I called in morning and was directed to Bombay, India. The person informed me that I was going to get a refund. I asked what the problem was and he said something seasonal? He proceeded to tell me that I would get refund in 4-7 days and then told me it would take 6-8 weeks for refund and that I would get 717 dollars back. At that point I said how do you get that figure since it was 738 for flights? He said that the other money was for taxes that I would not get back. So now I am behind schedule instead of being ahead. There was not much sympathy just wait a couple of months for refund and we'll take 21 for taxes. I am not happy, no flight, less money, delayed money and somehow I have to put more money on my credit card, more debt, more hassle. I would like to get an email from corporate. I still haven't received emial from customer service like I asked over 12 hours ago about my refund confirmed. This has been a waste of my time and money. Just hassle!
