Max Acai Boost web site claims to send a no-risk trial bottle of their product for only the cost of shipping and handling (anywhere between $0.99 and $3.95 depending upon offer coupon). What they don't tell you unless you scroll to the VERY bottom of their web page, is that unless you CANCEL your order within 17 days of placing the order (not after receiving the product - but after clicking on SEND) you have agreed not only to pay $80 for the sample you just got, but also to MONTHLY BILLING for future shipments of $80 each. Nowhere in the ordering process do they point you to the true deal.
THEN - at the really, really end of the web page they have a Terms and Conditions link where the text is almost the same color as the background color so you hardly notice it. If you manage to find that link and click on it, the terms are quite clear that by simply VIEWING their website you agree to the monthly charges and if you don't like those rules you should exit the web site immediately.
Very misleading website. I am not even going to try the product I received as who knows what could be in those pills. The website is from Cyprus so good luck getting any satisfaction from overseas. I was able to cancel my order only because my Credit Card Company called me with a fraud alert warning.

YOU CAN READ THE FINE PRINT ALL YOU WANT AND YOU WILL STILL GET SCREWED! Well, unfortunatelly I ordered this product before reading your consumer complaints. I first figured, what can this hurt if your only paying less than a buck for shipping and getting a free product, just make sure you cancel before they charge your card again right? WRONG...SOOOO... WRONG!!! I thought I was being a smart one by reading the fine print located on the main page way down at the bottom(of course!) there is a link you click on. It does explain, once you place the order, they will give you 13 days from the day you placed the order regardless of when you recieve it to cancel if you dont want them to continue billing your credit card each month and shipping you this crap every month! So, I figure, just follow thier rules! So, I order the product online today and called right away to cancel the next shipment with the cancellation number they provided in the small print 1-866-992-6556, an automated voice came on and said to wait while customer service was serving others at this time, well 20 minutes went buy and then the prompter said to leave a message at regular business hours, it hung up on me. Okay then, I tried thier number that was on the invoice I had printed out for my receipt, 1-866-949-0138, so same scenario though after another 20 minutes a representative came on the phone, asked me my last name spelling it out to me correctly the first time, I told him I wanted to cancel and I read the fine print and wanted my free trial product and didnt want to get charged each month or order anymore. He again asked me my last name repeated the spelling correctly again and then my first name. Then asked my last name yet again! At this point it was obvious to me he was trying to just buy some time. I asked him if I was in his system because he kept asking my name over and over and each time he spelled it out correctly! I asked him if there was a problem, cause he sure wasnt giving out any information. He said he didnt see me in there. Then he asked for my credit card number, I told him he already had it cause they already charged the shipping fee and that I have the reciept. He insisted I was not in their system and he didnt see any order for me. I let him know again that was impossible, He then proceeded to give me a fax number 1-800-573-5303. and told me to fax my reciept cause he didnt see me in the system. He had nothing else to say and seemed very unprofessional. I hung up and called my bank. There indeed was a 99 cents charge for shipping today, Therefore, they have my information and they are pretending not to have it so I cannot cancel the order and they can charge my card as origionally planned. Well folks, after this, I now have to go to my bank, get a new card with a new number on it so they may not charge my card further, this is just scary, scetchy and rediculous, I should have just gone to a healthfood store. At this point I dought I will get my order like most of you! I will let you guys know if anything further happens!GOOOD LUCK!

I ordered max acai boost for a trial offer for 99 cents s&h. I got it two days after it was supposed to arrive, using a prepaid credit card, I put just enough on their to pay the s&h, so that they could not get any more money if it was a scam. To begin with, it was not max acai boost (the bottle displayed on the website) it was a purple bottle called acai detox. I called the company to cancel before they could bill me (you have 15 days) and they didn't have any record of me ordering! There was a hold put on my prepaid mastercard, because they tried to charge me for the next order before my trial was even up! I looked up this acai detox, and called the number on their website instead, and asked why I got their bottle, and they had record of me when I ordered max acai boost...the woman told me that it is the same product, but the people at acai boost said that is a lie. I cancelled my order, and got a confirmation number, so we'll see what happens... Do NOT order this stuff online, obviously anybody could get your info, and send you anything...

Ordered their free trial bottle june 29 and never received than on aug 9 they charged $82 to my bank account for subscription i never knew i signed up for. Customer service refuses to refund my bank account until i return my merchandise that i never received. SCAM !!
