I purchased a Maytag Washing Machine and have owned many Maytag Products (including washers). I also purchased the extended warranted. The washer has been a nightmare to say the least. I also found out from three different Maytag representative stores that Maytag took this certain model off line because it was a "dog". First the warranty customer serivce reps told me to go ahead a make an appointment. When the rep where I purchased the came out, he told me about this washer and how it was a disaster for Maytag and when he looked at mine he said that there was so many things wrong with it that it wasn't worth fixing and it would cost more to fix that to replace. But no Maytag wouldn't honor that and replace it, they insisted on fixing it and sent their people out, bunch o clowns called A & E. Well they "Fixed It" and then the washer after three hours of being "fixed" over flowed all over my basement. Well guess what, that was my problem, Maytag is not responsible for that, even though their repair people didn't fix it well or check it. I was left to clean up the mess. Needless to say 6 1/2 weeks later I am still without a washing machine that works. It is still in may basement full of water!!!
