I purchased my car brand new and have had numerous service issues. My car has been vibrating bad enough the my passangers feel it when the car is in idle as well as a loud grinding metal sound from the front right side of the engine. I've been complaining about it since it was under warranty however, they were never able to find a problm when I would bring it in. One time they blamed aggressive winter tires and a rock!
Now that my car is not under warranty they kind of think it's the Intake manifold which is over 1, 200.00 to fix. Mazda Canada says it's my problem because I never questioned how it was serviced and refuse to help. Unfortunately i'm not a mechanic and believe when I take my car in the staff should be equipped to fix the problem. My car recently went in again and they said my computer wasn't updated (which should have been done when it went in for maintence and warranty checks), and that they then charged me a 190.00 diagnostic charge and replaced a part which still hasn't fixed the problem (another 200.00). I said I don't want to pay for something that they thought might fix it (now they're not returning my phone calls). Again they want me to bring my car in so they can look at it (I spend more time in th car that I used to drive before I purchased a Mazda) I refuse to puchase a Mazda again and warn anyone who does.
