The MBC Business Centre in Elviria, Marbella, Spain and the restaurant TLC's (Formally Tim le Chef) is part of a group of companies owned by Michael Donald Beskine, a chartered accountant based in the same building. He also owns Buying Power, and the LifeTimes magazine, and just recently the CIB forced his 'Drug Awareness Publishers' company into insolvency. Part of the judgement reads thus:
High Court Orders Closure Of Drugs Awareness Publisher
A London company that "cold called" businesses and used misleading sales practices to solicit business sponsorship of a children's drug, tobacco and alcohol awareness book called "Zack & Ella's Crazy Day" has been wound up in the High Court following an investigation by Companies Investigation Branch (CIB) of the Insolvency Service.
Customers were induced to place orders for multiple copies of the book for distribution to a local junior school of their choice by false statements made during unsolicited telephone calls from the company's self employed telesales team in Spain.
Persistent debt collection methods were then employed to enforce payment.
His modus operandi is consistent throughout all his business dealings with partners, clients and employees. He offers bogus contracts and conditions, then leaves people high and dry. He owes everyone who ever worked with or for him money, and the businesses who rent space from him never get their deposits back, even when the services they pay for leave a lot to be desired.
Averyone who gets contacted by these organisations as potential clients or employees should be very careful.
