facility, manager, order
Happened Tuesday, July 19th 6:25 PM:
1) 1st issue is a regular occurance and happened this night as well: Look at coupons like they are a foreign piece of paper. Coupons are not something new. McDonald's spends a fortune on advertising...why do the employees always look at them like they are something out of the ordinary??
2) Absolutely no more salads in the restaurant??? Unacceptable!! Said would fries be OK? do I need to say more about this???
3) Receipt on machine not working, had to wait for it to be fixed.
4) Manager shoves the tray forward and looks at me and says OK? like I am supposed to be OK with this???
5) 3 pies when ordered 2,
6) sticky and dirty tray asked for a different tray at the counter while waiting for the machine to be fixed...
7) Manager says: "you don't have to be rude just because we work at McDonald's"??? At no time was I rude, I will not accept this behavior self righteous no matter where I am or go!!!. With all the training this manager has received it is self evident that she does not belong in the position!!! I have been going to this McDonald's for 35 years and this past visit is the last...
8) To top it off handicapped button on door not working on way out. Mother who accompanied me on this last visit is 80 years old...this handicapped door issue is major and unacceptable.
All this last night on one visit and since my previous visit only 1 month ago!!! McDonald's you are going backwards again...remember what happened last time you started to behave like this...you were lucky you had a great leader to pull you out of it...now you are going to face extinction again and don't think it can't happen to you...wont be any empathy or sympathy here...

Food poisoning
Recently I went to Mcdonalds with the kids on a lazy sunday. My son had the 4piece nugget meal with apples and corn, my daughter the cheeseburger happy meal and I had a fish fillet. Not more than 20 minutes after ingestion I soiled my pants, and while changing my pants i defecated again. I defecated so much my anus now sticks out like a pink sock. Can i sue Mcdonalds for the pain and suffering, medical bills, etc?

WRONG Pricing
On different occasions, I went to McDonald's in Granby and was charged a different price than what was advertised on the signage in the store. Each time I brought it to the cashier's attention. Each time I was told, 'I don't know why it's like that, but the computer--not the sign, is always right!' After being overcharged for the third time in a row, I e-mailed McDonald's corporate headquarters. They very nicely sent a 'canned' response that the franchise owner of this particular store would contact me. After two weeks, I heard from no one, so I wrote again and said that my next e-mail would be to the State of Connecticut as what they were doing was illegal. I finally got a call from the franchisee who said he would be sure to have the signs changed. No 'I'm sorry, ' or anything else! I've stopped going there--the Manager is rude, and I believe they intentionally are ripping people off!

Over charging and Rude about it!
Today I ordered 2x Hotcake Happy Meals for my children. Usually I pay $8.17 today I was charged $11.83. When I queried why the price was so different from usual, the girl (Mailing) answered that that was how they did it. I told her the milk and cookies were included in the cost (Cookies instead of a toy) she said they were not, they were merely discounted and that I still had to pay $1.68 for the cookies and $2.58 for the milk. Anyway I asked her to void it and ring it up correctly all the while she was rolling her eyes to heaven, huffing and puffing and with a raised voice, embarrassing me in front of the people behind me in the line up. Eventually, after I called another cashier over, she re-rang it and refunded me the overcharged $3.01. How many other people would have complained and then stood their ground whilst being humiliated and verbally bullied in front of everyone else?
One of the other staff members said she always behaves like that, even with the other staff members, but shame, she is heavily pregnant. My response is... Do not accept bad treatment from anyone in the customer service, no matter his or her 'excuse'. I could have accepted it if an apology went hand in had with the explanation, BUT I too have been pregnant and if I do wrong, I apologize. This Mailing should get a stern talking to and McDonald's STOP allowing your staff to overcharge, as this is not an uncommon complaint. Also, if you are going to have obnoxious people working on your front line, give them people skill training, your customers do not have to put up with such bad treatment, there are many fast food outlets, don't make us choose because of continual bad service...

Service
I spent $23.79 for breakfast with the family. We go here all the time. We asked for extra syrup for the hotcakes, we were told "no" -- BY THE MANAGER -- who was working putting orders on trays. I said: "We just spent this much money and you can't give me two extra syrups?" He said "no" again, turned his back, and said: "Have a nice day." I said the same thing, again, louder. He turned around and said: "I WILL now give them to you, but I will charge you for them." I walked away.
People came up to me and shared that they were disgusted, especially with my family there. People I did not even know. My son's hockey coach was there, he started telling everybody who came in about the incident. As I think of it, I will tell everyone about it at the West Chester Chamber of Commerce meeting this week -- 140 in front of businesses.
What a disgrace. Before I looked at advising them on their website, I went back and looked at last month's Discover charges, for our McDonald's spending each month. WE SPEND OVER $120.00 A MONTH AT THEIR RESTAURANTS. They could not give us 25 or 30 cents worth of extra syrup? Should I broadcast this on all the other web sites?
Disgrace...AND IT WAS THE MANAGER!! Do the staff take their lead from him? Service?
They have to do better to regain my trust and loyality.

No Gloves
On the local news channel here in the MN and NW WI area on 4-19-11, McDonald's made the news by announcing that they were hiring thousands of workers nationwide in the next few weeks. They showed clip after clip of employees preparing the food with their hands, assembling the burgers and the condiments without gloves. I was shocked and couldn't believe that such a HUGE fast food chain didn't require employees to wear gloves. They might be hiring, but I just lost my appetite and won't be eating there ever again...

Bad fruit & yogurt parfait
I purchased 2 fruit and yogurt parfaits and upon starting to eat one the fruit was very mushy and and taste spoiled. I check the date on the bottom and it seems that someone scribbled over the original date with a pen and changed it to todays date. This is not exceptable and I feel that you should give the same service you would want when you and your family go out to eat.

There are bones in nuggets... They should be processed much better. We did not pursue this but would like for it to be known
