wasted time
My wife stopped here for supper and got tired of waiting on employee's playing around inside and outside the building, she stopped there for supper after church and stood in line for 30mins. then left without ordering nothing, this is not the first time this has happened here we just left and went somewhere else to eat, it seems to me if they wanted customers to keep coming back they would do something about the horseplaying, I was in the food change business myself and these problems arrived they were stopped even if I had to cover someones shift maybe all mcdonald's see's now is dollar signs and not customer's, it will be awhile before me and wife visit this store again, a disatified cutomer gooodbye

Awful experience
Again, I went to McDonald's. I ordered a Big and Tasty meal, with a coke with no ice. My drink had ice in it, and I immediately returned it. I watched her originally get my drink at the window fountain. When I returned it, she walked to the lobby fountain to get my drink. After we drove off, I found cheese melted to my damned sandwich, to the meat on one side and the tomato and lettuce on the other. That was a delight to scrape off.
If I had wanted cheese, I would have had to of paid .30 for it. I guess if I don't want it, they throw it in for free if it means making me miserable. I specifically said no ice, and no cheese when I ordered, because they try to sell you cheese every damned time. As if it was the greatest thing ever and you would be making a horrible mistake if you forgot to take advantage of your opportunity to have the rat droppings they call cheese.
Why the hell does that nasty piece of rubberized, coagulated, yellowish thing they call cheese cost .30? It's free on a fish filet, where it has no business. And the Big Mac. And, the price difference between a hamburger and a cheeseburger is NOT .30! It's .10 or .20. Why can't they get it together?
Their cheese is disgusting. At least I've found one way to take advantage of their penny pinching ripoffs. Instead of using those little annoying paper ketchup cups when I dine in, I grab a couple of drink lids and fill one of those suckers up with ketchup. No more having to grab ten little cups to get enough ketchup.
This was not the fault of McDonalds. This is yet another case of a consumer being wronged by a lazy, uncaring, non-listening slob of an employee. Putting cheese on there and putting ice in the drink proves she was not listening. And she didn't care enough to check the grill slip when assembling my order. That's why employees are treated the way they are, so don't whine about how wrong it is to talk down to them or speak illy of them. It is not corporates fault, they can't come down there on a Saturday night and hold her hand to make sure she does her job. They can just fire her on Monday.

small fries not offered
I tried to purchase an order of small fries at the McDonald's in Westlake Mall in Seattle, WA on Sat Feb 7, and was told they do not sell small fries, I would have to buy a medium size fries. The manager said the only way I could have small fries was to purchase a Happy Meal! (Of course I did not want a Happy Meal, I wanted an order of small fries. 0 So in other words, they actually have the ability to sell me small fries (eg: they have the small fries size packaging) but they do not offer small fries on the menu! In fact they said they do not offer the $1 menu at all. I am complaining that in these economic times, McDonald's, who are actually benefiting during this recession and planning to open 1000 more stores, they are audacious in this action of forcing people to purchase a medium size fries by not offering small fries, and not offering a $1 menu. I did not purchase any fries, in fact, as I refused to be forced to pay for a larger quantity than I wanted. I plan to go back to the same McDonald's over the next few Saturday's to see if corporate has read this blog, contacted the manager of the Westlake McDonald's and corrected the problem at this location and all McDonald's who are currently following a similary policy.

Bad Food And Service
When i pulled on the lot i noticed that there were no other cars in front of me. I pulled up to the speaker and ordered my meal. I ordered a number 2 no pickle or onion small with an unsweet tea. when i got to the second window to recieve my order they gave me the drink and no straw. i noticed that there was a bag sitting on the counter and i thought it might be my order. the longer i sat there i was hoping that it wasn't mine. i seen about six employees inside; one changing trash, three just standing around one getting a drink for himself and the manager also just standing there. at least three of the workers walked up to the window i was at and didn't even aknowledge me or my food. i sat there for a good seven or eight minutes while no employee looked at me or my food. finally a young lady came from the back of the store and stood there for a minute as if she was cunfused. she looked in the bag and FINALLY handed it to me. i asked her what took so long and why my food was just sitting there the whole time and she stated that they weren't sure what order went to what car. (at this time there is one car behind me at the speaker and no more anywhere else.) i do not understand what took so long to get my food!!! anyway i drove off expecting my food to at least be warm. no it was cold, the fries were soggy and so salty i couldn't even eat them. to top it all off, they gave me a sweet tea instead of unsweet and my sandwiches had everything on them. i will never go back to that location again if any McDonald's at all. This, coming from a General Manager of a fast food restaurant for 5+ years, thanks for giving all fast food restaurants a bad reputation!!!

Benoni McDonald's Shocking Service!
The service at the Benoni branch of McDonald's is consistently shocking! They have now introduced a barricade around the drive-thru. Not only is this very unsafe in this area, as you cannot get away, but it also means you cannot simply exit the queue if it takes too long. I have waited up to 40 minutes in their "drive-thru" on numerous occasions!
I think that it is ridiculous that I have to drive 30minutes to get to another McDonald's simply to get a "fast" meal!
The orders are often incorrect. The coke has often been flat. The food is sometimes stale!
I live really close, this is why I feel the need to keep going to check if service has improved... but it does not!
I think they are a disgrace to the name McDonald's, and think they need new management!! Or at least someone to supervise and maintain quality!

Termination
My name is Kimberly Meissner and I have worked at McDonald’s since September 2007. Upon my date of hire I stated to McDonald’s that I have a permanent right knee condition in which it makes it difficult to bend, squat and kneel. I also asked to stay out of the freezer because my knee is not stable to walk on ice. Their freezer is covered in ice and it has no mat for you to walk on. Since my date of hire I have faced much opposition during my time there. Last year we went through a major battle because they could not understand why I could not go in the freezer despite my doctor’s note and a copy of my handicapped plaquer. I constantly told all the managers about how I have to go to pain management every month, including the head manager Ron. Ron has even seen my knee scars from my three surgeries and how swollen my knee gets a times. I did not hide my knee condition and they were fully aware of my knee condition. Things finally subsided for a couple of months; however it started again when I switched from day shift to night. Things got worse on Thursday the 22 of January which ultimately end in my termination. Ernesto was the manager that evening and around nine o’clock he asked me to put in pies. Well to put in pies you have to go in the freezer and I cannot go in the freezer because I fear for my safety. I thought he asked someone to put in pies however he came back to me in twelve minutes looking for his pies. He then got upset at me for not putting pies in the oven and started to scream at me. He said that just because I have a disability that does not give me special privileges and I am required to do everything he says. He said that he lost a kidney when he was in the military fighting war and that you do not see him getting special privileges. He then pulled up his shirt to see his scar, which I don’t understand why he did that and I thought it was inappropriate. I tried to explain again about my knee and he said he did not care. He called Dona Gay and she told him that it was okay to write me up for disobeying his orders to go in the freezer. I cannot understand how they could write me up for not going in the freezer when I have a bona fide medical condition which makes it unsafe for me to go in there. Then at 10 when it was time for me to leave I asked for a copy of my write up. He was on the computer and slammed the door to the office in my face because he said he could not think with me talking to him. Then got out of the office and told me to leave and not come back because I was being disrespectful. He then stated that I had to leave in five minutes without the copy of my write up, or if I did not he was going to call the cops. He said to get the fuck out and he did not want to see me again. I just don’t understand how they can be so rude and have a lack of ethics. To me you cannot write up and ultimately fire someone if they have a medical condition for why they cannot do something. I would like to have my remaining checks mailed to me because I cannot bring myself to go there. I am very emotionally distraught over this situation because I still cannot believe someone can be that mean. I have been a model employee doing everything that I can, and all I asked was that they make some reasonable accommodations which they failed to do. I graduate in May and I was trying so hard to stick out to till then by putting up with their negative attitudes.

Arguement with employee
On 3/31/2008 at approximately 1030 AM, I went to the MacDonald's Restaurant on 72nd St and Third Avenue. I had the misfortune of encountering the rudest person I have ever met. The young man who would not give his name up, was hispanic. The manager would not give his name to me and hid him in the back of the store. She would not give me a phone where I could put in a complaint. The boy was arguementive and tried to dictate to me what I had ordered. I told him he was wrong and he argued to the point of driving me out the door without my breakfast. I am a live long patronizer of macdonalds and they are the closest one to my home. I am disabled and of the age 56yr. I have always expirienced very polite workers at any MacDonald's I have patronize. This person should be moved from the Bayride store or at least train your employees on how to speak to customers. In any event, thank you for paying attention to my complaint.

No customer service
Just to be clear, this is the McDonald's in Abacoa, off Donald Ross and Military Trail in Jupiter, FL. Store #23783. I haven't had so many issues at any other McDonald's location and I don't believe this store is representative of the chain in general.
Although my recent (and definitely LAST) visit prompted this report, my frustration comes as a result of several bad experiences I've had at this location. I should have learned my lesson before, but the convenience of this location for me personally is difficult to resist.
Basically I don't have a fantastic story of any great injustices. It's just a consistent pattern of experiences that are not up to par with what I usually find at other fast food places.
Problems here fall into three categories: Impolite employees who speak rudely (if at all), failure to deliver the proper items in the order, and poorly cooked or assembled food items. Any one of these is pretty common from time to time anywhere, and I think I am a pretty reasonable person about this.. I realize I am not paying much for the meal and they aren't getting paid much to make it.
On any given visit to this McDonald's, you will probably be greeted with something like 'What do you want?' or just a blank stare if inside. You will probably have to repeat even the simplest order (I almost always get a number one with a diet coke, no special requests, so it's not like I'm ordering weird stuff).
You will then be commanded 'drive up'. At the window, someone will probably be on the headset with the next customer and simply stick their hand out for payment. They might take the time to state your total. They will then hand back your change or card, but at no time will they acknowledge or thank you.
Similar treatment at the next window, someone will wordlessly thrust a bag/drink at you and then slam the glass shut. Next, you may or may not find that you have the proper items in your bag. Actually sometimes I get bonus items here, so maybe this is alright :). Probably not so good for the person in front or behind who gets my order.
Finally, you will very likely find that whatever you'd ended up with is missing things like basic condiments, undercooked/frozen, and put together with so little care that things are not even in the right order (I know, a Big Mac has a lot of parts, but let's at least get a bun on both the top and bottom).
I know that these types of things are par for the course. It's just that the frequency of bad service and bad food served up at this McDonald's location greatly exceeds anything I've experienced before. I consider them a rip off because they do not meet even the low standards for typical fast food.

manager's poor customer service
My friends and I went out and on our way home we stopped at the 24hr Mcdonald's. My friend had recieved some old money from the bank, twenty dollar bills from the 1950's and 193o's. it was 2am and we ordered our food. the Manager Tawana, told us the bill my friend paid with was fake, she couldnt give it back to us nor prove to us that it was fake. we asked why she refused to explain this to us, confused we left. we called the police and asked them if they could check my friends other twenty dollar bills because we knew they werent fack they were just old.we then decided to go to a 24 hr drug store and have them chck the bills for us. we went back to the MCdonalds and the manager refused to answer any questions she was rude and condesending. she said the police came and confiscated the bill. we called the police again. in the end, we were given the bill back. the police said it was not fake which we knew. the manager was very rude she allowed other employess to talk crap to us and she tried to give us a fake name. the employees should be trained to look closely at money before confiscating money that isnt too obvioulsy discernable. I wont be returning to that location
