Every time I go to mcdonalds, I don't get what I ordered
Every time I go to mcdonalds, I don't get what I ordered. But this time was the worst. I go through the "Drive through" but then I had to wait for my food on the side, and it gets worse. I wait for at least 25 minutes and have to go in to get my food. They fix it up and I asked if the 12 pc nuggets that I ordered was in bag because I saw them put in 4pc nugget. The girl said "yes" they are in there. When I get home they were not in there and I only had 4 pc nugget although I paid for 12 pc combo. I am tired of everytime I go to mcdonalds I don't get what I want and I do pay for it. I will not go back. I will go to sonic or any other place before I go back to mcdonalds again.

added salt to food
Order 4 fish fillet w/ lite tartar sauce, recevied order fine until I got home and started eating it that I notice that the fillet had a lot of added salt witch made the sandwich taste bitter. I was very upset that they add salt to the sandwich witch I had many times. It wasn't good for people with high blood pressure like me. so in the furture please inform your employees not to add salt to any sandwich unless they ask for it. thank you.

Charging for an extra sauce
I decided today that I would try eating some lunch from one of our local McDonalds (the one on the Georgia Road in particular), I am usually not a BIG FAN of MCDONALDS, but I thought I would give it a try. My child really likes McDonalds, one of her favorite things to get from there is the Chicken Nugget Happy Meal, needless to say I find it very hard to believe that you only get one sauce with your meal & if you want more you have to pay for it. I bet if you are an employee there you don't have to pay for an extra sauce if you are going to eat chicken nuggets. I really don't understand what the BIG DEAL is about giving someone an extra sauce if they are going to use it. With having a child we do frequent McDonalds & I must say that NOT every McDonalds charges for an extra sauce, but obviously ours do. I really feel that this is going to hurt their business in the long run, but if they can't part with an extra sauce to make a customer HAPPY instead of wanting a little change for an extra sauce & have a PISSED OFF customer that will probably not ever go back to that particular McDonalds, then so be it. Personally if it were me, I would want to please the customer & not get BAD feedback about their business. I have worked in the food industry & our motto was to make sure that the customer is always happy & to never let a person leave unhappy about anything, but obviously this McDonalds doesn't really care that much about making the customer happy, but instead to leave a BAD TASTE in their mouth. I contacted the manager at this particular McDonalds & she didn't even care about trying to fix the situation at all, the only thing that she could keep repeating over was ..."WE ARE GOING BY THE BOOK ON THIS & WE CAN'T HELP WHAT THE COMPANY DECIDES TO DO. So needless to say I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS MCDONALDS & I will make sure that I let all my friends now as well. Thank you for letting me share my COMPLAINT with you. I hope that this problem will get resolved in the future.

P.S. WENDYS tried charging an extra sauce for awhile, they lost so much business that now if you want one of every kind, they will give it to you...NO PROBLEM!!! I guess we will start going back to WENDYS for our child, when she wants chicken nuggets, 'cause at least I know that there will be no problem if my child wants an extra sauce, they will SMILE & give it to you with no questions asked.

Health and Safety
My husband recently walked into a McDonalds on Mountain Road in Moncton . The grates that collect the snow were over flowing with water and my husband fell. When the young guy working saw him fall he went to his supervisor and said I asked you to get me a shop vac to vacuum up the water as that guy just slipped and fell. The supervisor said "too bad" What kind of service is that. I noticed that in Canada you cannot contact McDonalds through their website to file a complaint such as this. You can in the USA. They give you phone numbers to call so that you can pay the long distance charge.
I was reading mcDonalds values on their website and if this is part of their values I best not be going there anymore. I think they better ensure that their employees know and live their values as well. They are very lucky that my husband was not injured.

Old Fries
I went to this Mcdonalds last night my friend and I have this unique thing we like to do. My best friends name is Ronald so going to Mcdonalds together is an inside Joke. So after our Random drive we went to Mcdonalds at the Above Location it was 2:11 am My friend orderd a Quarter Pounder with Cheese combo I ordered a Mchicken combo. We didnt get our recipt. So any ways we park the car and began to dig in. The fries were Stale (Old) and very undercooked. In fact it turned us both off and the line up was big in the drive thru and where we live your not aloud to knock on the window because they wont answer. We fed our food to the Lonely Racoon in the tree who looked very cold. So we were really upsett because our food was not fresh and the line up was huge at 2am and they didnt give us fresh foood

Upsett!!

Bad Food
On 02/19/2010, my family and I went to a Mcdonald's on FM1960 & Aldine Westfield, where we purchased meals for each of us. We got food poison due to the hamburger meat was not fully cooked. I could not believe this! Someone really needs to look into this place, how can they serve their food without making sure its fully cooked, we paid for our meals so we can enjoy it, not lay up in bed for 2days without being able to eat!

They hurt my mothers feelings
My mother loves coffee and frequents the McDonalds up the street from where we live. And at the one on Davidson Hwy. in Huntersville works one of the rudest guys Ive ever met. My mom has drove away before without her order but today he really pissed me off. My mom and step father were ordering coffee and my mom was still looking at the menu to see what she wated and he said "Your total is $2.73 drive to the first window." But she wasnt done ordering yet so he said again but very rude, "You can go to the first window or you can just sit there and talk." I was stunned. My mother once again drove off without her order. She got her feellings REALLY hurt and I will not stop until he looses his job.

GOAL SETTING
I'd just like to say to all those out there that ever want to complain about McDonalds drive thru's again a few words of advice:

When ordering a burger, if you want it to be in a meal, say the size of the meal first - then the burger - and then (if you must) state what you would like changed on the burger.

When ordering a Happy Meal, say what type (cheeseburger, hamburger, 3 or 6 nuggets, snack wraps) because saying "I'd like a Happy Meal" does not help us serve you faster. Then tell us what drink you would like, and any sauces, if with nuggets.

Make sure that you speak CLEARLY into the order box, as sometimes, outside or inside noises and your loud car, can affect our hearing ability. You do not have to shout, but if you speak up, chances are we will hear you properly. ALSO, do not assume we can understand what you are saying when you order "abigmacmeallargefrozencokeforthedrinkandasoftservecone". That doesn't make sense to you when you first look at it, so OBVIOUSLY it doesn't make sense to us when you say it.

Please also note that at this current point in time, it seems that our head office has taken it upon themselves to "improve" our drive thru's. This means that most stores in Australia have a time limit on how fast we have to serve you. From the second you get to the speaker box (and sometimes earlier) we are being timed on how long it takes to serve you, and some stores are given as little as 2 minutes and 30 seconds to get you your order on time.

This means that the next time you are ordering for a family, you have to understand, that while we do make "fast food", 3 Happy Meals, 2 Large Big Mac meals and dessert to boot, won't always be ready in less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds. You have to account for the how busy we are in store, how many cars are in front of you, and how many are behind you.

Sometimes people get annoyed that they have to wait for fresh meat or fries when all they're ordering is a small Cheeseburger meal. Well, honestly, next time you come through for the same thing, and your burger and fries aren't completely fresh, maybe think about not complaining next time when you have to wait.

Another thing that customers have to realise, is that 80% of the time, when there is only one crew member in the window where you pay for your meal, it most likely means that they are also the person taking the orders. This means that we are dividing our attention to get orders placed and paid for as quick as possible. If we are a bit "rude" or "bitchy" then, we ARE sorry for that, but given the pressure from our managers to get the order to their top window before our 2 minutes and 30 seconds are up, we can't stand around chatting about the weather.

Personally, I DO NOT agree with the new targets for McDonald's Drive Thru's that have been put in place, because not only are us crew members stressed from all the pressure our managers put on us, but they are being pressured by their bosses and so on. I am also sick of taking customer complaints from people about having to be parked all the time - I agree with you (the parked customer). You shouldn't have to be parked for a meal that is probably sitting there ready for you to have, but because you won't drive off fast enough after we have given it to you, you have to be parked, and wait a little while longer.

I plea that people who read this and frequent ANY McDonald's store will take into account what I have said. I suppose I'm more angry at the fact that we've been given restrictions on how long we have for a car to go through drive thru, but there are some valid points for customers when ordering their meal. I'd also like to add that while many of your items may be missing, or wrong in your bag, you have to understand that working at McDonald's is NOT the easiest job in the world, and while it may happen more than once in a week, PLEASE try to be understanding towards our situation as well.

I encourage for customers to complain to the head office, I really do, because if more people speak up about this, then either our 2 minutes and 30 seconds will get raised to a more realistic goal, or the times will stop altogether.

Thanks for reading. (let the flaming begin ><)

Untrained / Unsupervised Staff
Hello to all my fellow fustrated customers,

I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old at home that just love McDonalds Chicken Nuggets.
At approx 12:00pm, on Thursday February 18, 2010. I experienced my worst encounter at a nyc McDonalds.
I had just made my $17.82 purchase at this McDonald Drive Through, when I noticed that the cashier had not
given me all of my change. When I asked for all of my change the cashier began to us profanity and call me names, all because I asked for the rest of my change which was $.18. I told this cashier that it did not matter the amount but the fact that it belonged to me rightfully and that I wanted it. The cashier then at this point went into his pants pocket and threw a case quarter at me through the window of my vehicle.Words were exchanged and that point I was told by this cashier to exit my vehicle so that he could "cut my Face". I then went into the McDonalds and asked for the manager and that all of my money to be refunded to me at once. I was told by another employee that this cashier was related to the manager which I found out is also the owner of this establishment. After all of what just happened the only thing that the manager/owner said was here is your change.

I had frequented this establishment for the past two years and never had any issues or complaints until today.
I would not enter this establishment ever again, and would not recommend that anyone else do the same.
