BAD FOOD
I HAVE BEEN GOING TO MCDONALDS FOR 40 YEARS. REALLY BAD FOOD THIS TIME!! I ORDERED FRENCH FRIES [LARGE SIZE] AND A SOUTHERN STYLE CHICKEN SANDWICH WITH EXTRA MAYO. THE FRENCH FRIES WERE COLD AND MUST HAVE BEEN SITTING AROUND FOR QUITE A WHILE. ALSO THERE WAS LESS THAN A 1/2 TEASPOON OF MAYO ON THE LUKEWARM SANDWICH. IT WASNT VERY BUSY THERE AND IT WAS 12:30 P.M. THERE WERE PLEANTY OF EMPLOYEES STANDING AROUND BUT STILL GOT POOR SERVICE. THEY MUST HAVE MADE EVERYTHING WAY AHEAD OF TIME IN HOPES OF CUSTOMERS. WELL, IT DIDNT HAPPEN. I CAME HOME, NUKED THE SANDWICH ON WHICH I HAD PUT MAYO AND THREW AWAY THE FRIES. VERY BAD VISIT . THEY LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER.

Poor Drive-Up service
I arrived at this McDonalds Drive-Thru at 7:10 am on Sunday July 5th. I ordered a extra value breakfast sausage egg mcmuffin and medium coffee. I paid for my food and drove on up to the next one. I saw 3 or 4 employees milling around looking like they were getting off to go home. After watching for a few minutes I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was almost like three of them were pillaging the place of food. They were stuffing all sorts of breakfasts items in bags, getting cups of coffee and not even paying attention to me at the window. At one point I thought one of them was pouring my coffee but I found out it was for them. After about 7 mins and no one coming to the window and cars backing up behind me in line I started wondering what was going on. Then all three of those employees walked out the door and got in their cars with all that food and left. Finally I started knocking at the window trying to get someone to come to it. After a bit an older woman came up and looked out and yelled at someone and asked them if they knew there was someone at the window. Finally she opened it and apologized to me. I had been there almost 10 mins by then and had to get to work. She said she would get my order for me. I got it and drove away. I looked in the bag and it was a Cinnamon Bun and she had given me a large cup of coffee. I turned around and drove back and told the woman at the first window what happened. She told me to pull up to the next window and she met me there and gave me my correct order. I use to think McDonalds employees were trained to be more professional then what I saw. But maybe they have cut back on training. The others in town have really gone down hill latley too. food's ok but the service is nonexistent.

waiting time
i went through the drive thru about 8:30 in the evening on my lunch break. for a change i decided to try one of the angus sandwiches. after i paid, i sat a window for 5 minutes and then they had me pull to the side and wait for another 15 minutes. they finally brought me my food after about a dozen or so cars have gone through. by the tim i got my food and drove only about 5 minutes away the fries where room temp. and the sandwich was cold as well. by that time though i had to be back at work.
i think that it should be posted that it takes time for those sandwiches to be made if that is an everytime thing.otherwise i think if some one has to wait for their food more that 5 minutes after they order there should be a discount on their next order or something free. after all it is supposed to be "FAST FOOD" and its not hardeez. so they don't need to try and be like them.

Poor Service and double standards
On the 5th May 2009 i attended olten Mcdonalds in the West midlands. i decided to go through the drive thru because i was collecting orders for people from my office. I had a 5 orders in total all consisting a simple meals. After paying for my meals i went to the second window where i received my drinks straight away, of which two were milkshakes, i was told to go and wait in the waiting bay. Before i left the window i inquired on how long it would be and which item i was waiting for? to which the young lady replied your waiting on your fries and it will be around 4 minutes. After the first 10 minutes of qwaiting i decided that i would go up to the window and ask how much longer. I also needed some sauces for our meals. I asked for 4 ketchups and 2 BBQ sauce. The young lady then replied i am going to have to charge you for the sauces. This was a great surprise because i have had Mcdonalds all around the world and never paid for a ketchup in my whole life, and due to the fact i was having 5 meals i did not think this was unreasonable. However the employee asured me that because i was not having chicken nuggets i was not aloud any free sauces. I then asked her when this had been brought into Mcdonalds and she said it had been a compnay policy for the last 2 years. This completely dumbfounded me because only last week i had been to the same Mcdonalds and have a meal and received 3 ketchups without payment. I had also been to two other Mcdonalds in England where i had not had to pay for sauces. I then gave up and paid 5 p for each sauce. I then waited another 10 minutes before my food came out to the car. In total i had waited exactly 22 minutes for my food. Whilst i had been waiting another 10 customers had been served all of whom had received fries and meals. This also puzzled me because why are other people getting there food when i had been there first? Do Mcdonalds not serve on a first come first serve basis? Anyway, by the time my order was delivered to my car and i had got back to work ( a two minute drive) the milkshakes were "watery" and the food as cold. The worst thing about it though is that when my food came i did not recieve an apology and when i called her back the lady completely ignored me. Overall i doubt i will be ever going to Mcdonalds again as i just feel like they do not respect the people they are serving or give them any notice about changes they maybe making in there prices.

Birthday Party
To whom it may concern

I am very unhappy about my last visit to the McDonalds Rangitikei Street. Palmerston North early in May. I went the morning to book a party for a girl that turn 4 her parents was not in the position to have a party for her so I went and ask if I could book it for the afternoon at 4pm. The manager on duty said it wss in order everything will be fine.

I arrived there at 4pm with friends waiting nothing was ready.. We stood there while they were cleaning the floor and rushing around after I had to ask what about the party. Then a guy started to help us. He was very friendly his name was Luke. But after the few bits of paper wsa on the table we saw him once when he took the orders and again whne he was chatting to the other mothers. The kids were out of control running around and very sooon got bored.

There were in total 5 children. When i went to pay the bill $80!! I almost got a heart attack!
I did phone the store afterwards and complaint about that. The manager on duty returned my call by saying they prefer to have bookings 2 weeks in advance. For what I wondered and if so why did the manager on duty not say to me sorry we cannot take a late booking. She just said we appreciate your response but we can do nothing further.

I am very unhappy regarding this and would appreciate it if something could be done about this.

Sprayed by sprinklers, ignored by manager
I stopped at McDonalds today, and went to the drive thru. It was around 3:00 in the afternoon. There were sprinklers oscillating very close to where you order, and spraying water into my car and all over me. I had to shut my window twice while attempting to order and finally gave up. I went to the window and told them I wasn't finished ordering, but couldn't because I was being sprayed with water. It was all over my face. My car was wet all the way over to the passenger side window. Because my order was put in late, I had to pull up and wait. The guy who brought it out appeared to be a shift manager and I told him that people were being sprayed by the sprinklers. He responded by saying, "Oh yeah?" He then smiled, chuckled, and walked back inside. I was completely outraged. I don't hold McDonalds to a very high standard but this was unacceptable. It wasn't just a little bit of water. I could have dealt with that. It was the manager's response that really angered me. He didn't care, or even pretend to. He didn't seem to understand that it was a problem. People shouldn't have to worry about getting soaked while trying to order food, and then be completely disregarded when they politely mention it to the management. I am not loving it!

rude service and wrong order!
We made a simple order of a double cheese burger combo only ketchup and mayo and a 6 piece chicken McNuget order both with frutopia both no ice. The girl at the window was so rude it was descusting! My girl friend had to ask for our change because we didnt get it back and when we got it the girl slammed the chang in to her hand with a nasty frown on her face. We got a frutopia with ice and a coke with ice. When we got are food we asked for some ketchup sweet and sour sauce and salt. All we got was sweat and and sour sauce. When we asked again for the ketchup and salt all we got was the ketchup. So we asked again for the salt. "Only because the fries had no salt at all on them." The girl then said "For F**K sakes" and stomed off and then cambe back gaveing us an obscean amount of salt, so we just left. when we got home to eat our food the double cheese burger was made normal, there was no bill, the fries were actualy half full and the nuggets were so stale i wouldn't even feed them to my dog! I will honestly NEVER go back to mcdonalds I am actualy descusted with that place! DONT EAT AT MCDONALDS!!!

Horrible in everyway
We moved to the area almost 4 years ago. Being a small town, McDonalds is the only fast food restaurant within 20 minutes of us. EVERY TIME we go there it is SO horrible. The waiting, the wrong items, the under knowledged employees & the rude management. We have waited over 30 minutes for our food before. I mean this is McDonalds, not Apple Bee's car side to go, lol. If you politely complain they give you a coupon but the next service is just as bad. I don't complain very often but I am shocked this franchise has stayed in business. We have a big family & it is much easier to stop & get fast food when we are on the run but we've been packing our lunch & driving to the next town much more often. Very sad!!!
