Bad Food
I had lunch at the Spring Arbor McDonalds today with my son and granddaughter, and it was terrible.
I waited a long time for my food, had to remind them that we didn't get our drinks. Went to get drinks and ice was out.
Went to get napkins and they were out too.
My son had a chicken club, and there was enough mayonaisse on it for about 6 sandwiches. They forgot about my fish sandwich and I had to remind them I was there before the other 4 or 5 people they were passing out food to.
The fries were way overdone and almost cold.
It is sad to think that lunch for 3 people was over $13.00 and was not even worth eating. We left the fries untouched. If a 2 year old won't eat the fries, that tells you something.
While I was in line people were coming in from the drive thru because there orders were wrong too.
This was between 12:15 and 12:45 pm, they are going to have to do a lot better then they did today to get me back there.
You just remodeled your restaurant but there is not very much seating available for families.
Also, people were complaining that the tables were dirty...which they were.

uncooked chicken sandwich
my sandwich was incorrect, so i asked for another...when i bit into the sandwich it tasted a little funny to me. so i looked at the meat and saw the chicken was pink, then as i opened it alittle more i saw that the entire middle of it was raw!! so, needless to say i ate raw chicken and my stomach is upset and feeling worse by the moment.

manager melt down towards staff member
I was at the MacDonalds located in the Walmart store on Tecumseh rd. east after doing some shopping. I was greeted by a very nice young man named Micheal and my order was taken when he asked his manager if he could get some pennies to give me my change. The manager (a women) went off on him she was saying tell the customer they will just have to wait (very loudly). After a few minutes she came out from behind where she was yelling and opened the till and took some money and slamed the till closed complaining that she had to do everything including his job. The young man never even rolled his eyes or anything he just continued to work with a very proffesional attitude . While I was waiting for my order another gentleman came up to order a pop and when she came back with the change he asked her if he could have his pop. She then opened the till and said what you want your change 2 cents; myself and another lady attemted to explain he just wanted his pop and she began to tell us that we were wrong and that she new what he wanted after all was said and done we were right and she then said that she has to do her job and his and some how the whole thing was his fault. I stood there in amazement at the way a manager treated her employee in front of customers and he had not done a single thing wrong. This young man kept his composior through out this whole situation. Bravo to this young man had that been me I am afraid I may have lost my job. Under no circumstances should anyone be treated in that kind of fashion. IN MY OPINION managers like that you certainly do not need, and employees should be treated with respect reguardless of their position, not humiliated and belittled in front of the customers. Perhaps she needs some training in people skills.
thank you
Denise Sylvestre

Bad service!
I went to MkDonalds in Calgary DownTown on 7ave and 8street on March 23, 2008. I asked for the bathroom keys before ordering the food. Two chineez looking employees told me that I have to order the food first, before going to the bathroom and they didn't give the keys to me. I understand they they are the low class workers, but they have to learn the simple polite behavior when they work with the customers.

Everything that goes around the store!
This message is from the Mcdonalds CREW Employees... we need to know why we don't get enough hours?... there is 3 managers that do our schedules... there is a lot of kids that go to school and need to save for college. Other kids like ME don't have fathers... but need to help our mothers... there is a assistant manager that swears at us and call us retards and dum ass mother f**kers and his name is SHAUN... after this message we do not want the store manager or anyone else to threaten us about who wrote this... if we do... we are still going to complain... we only want one manager to do our schedule not all of them... in that store the assistant manager only depend on people that kiss A*S.

They don't care about employees or past employees!
I was once an employee at McDonalds in Covington VA. Well I had quite and moved away, well I was at the time dating someone that also worked there!! Well I had moved back to Covington and me and that guy broke up, well me and my new boyfriend would go to Mcdonalds all the time we have a little girl and she loves their apple dippers!! We never said anything to my ex-boyfriend that worked there we never even looked at him!!! One day we get these letters sent first class and we opened them!!! The managers had banned us from their restaurant! After finding this out we called down there and asked for a reason on why we were banned seeing as how we were paying customers!! They refused to give us an answer! We aren't upset about it, it's just wrong we never done anything to anybody when we would go there and we just wanted a reason on why we would get banned from there restaurant!!!

Cross contamination!
I watched with horror as the girl sniffed in my cup to see what was in it and then putting her hand on the top of the cup, she filled it up and then drug the lid across the counter where who knows what had been, then she put the lid on my cup with her bare hand over the spot where I was to drink out of. When I complained about the unsanitary way this was handled, she said she didn't understand. I asked for my money back. They haven't ever responded to a complaint.

Shamrockless!
My partner, 6 year old son and myself live a few blocks away from the King George Hwy and 64th Street McDonalds and often frequent that restaurant as well as the one at King George and 72nd Street. In my experiences i have found staff for the most part pleasant mannered but on occasion noticeably annoyed at there job, rude towards customers and just plain lost on what the heck there doing. In the past, presents and am sure future experiences with both restaurants I have left many many times with missing food itemsnot to mention strawless, toyless, ketchupless even after a request. I can say the few times I have gone home and called regarding my order being wrong they have been apologetic and given me more than enough back with a free meal or two the next time i come in but could I really call and get free food everytime? I doubt it, I would eat free everyday with the amount of missing fries and burgers i have had. However this is not the reason for my email today. Today I went for lunch with my partner and son and while eating a meal in the restaurant we noticed many bold signs for the Shamrock Shake all over the place. This made my boys very happy knowing next time we come they could get there all time favorite shake, yes they are big fans. Well it turned out later in the evening we decided to take a stroll down to the McDonald for a special treat. This is something we had done many evenings for years but this time to get a Shamrock Shake. So after a 15 minute walk we get to the King and 64th location. Well to our surprise after waiting in the line for 5 minutes they informed us they had no Shakes. Ya try and look at your 6 year old after walking 15 minutes to get something they really really want and telling them it ain't happening. Not to mention my partners disappointment. Well anyhow we walked home and decided to hop in the truck and drive over to the 72nd and King location. We use this location as our backup as we have many times encountered issues like this with things unavailable. Well we waited again inline and can you believe there shake machine was down. All of my previous bad experiences came rushing threw my head and I was mad. Come on what luck... or completely unacceptable service. Now after clearing my head I started to look around, and not anywhere in site nor at the 1st location did I see one out of order/stock/service sign near any of these (I swear hundreds of) advertisements about the Shamrock Shake. Now why should a customer stand in line for so long (twice) to get an answer like "Sorry we don't have any" accompanied with an annoyed look. Was there no thought a tall in either location to put a sign up, especially because all the complaining on this product? I am now left with many frustrations, I have been very patient and understanding with all the errors over the years, I understand fast food and that things happen but I am at the point of saying I quit. My family and I have a tradition of going in the evenings and have many fun memories involving these outings, but its getting so bad I cant depend on anything being correct. I started as precaution a good while ago staying at the drive-thru window until I have checked everything in the bag and I can say everytime now there is some type of error. The worst part is... why should my family get a dirty looks, snarky under the breath comments, giggling behind the window, made to feel really uncomfortable or rudely being stared at because I haven't moved along for the next person to come thru. All because why, I want to double check something that is usually wrong by no fault of my own? Great customer service skills. It is now late Sunday night and we are at home with no Shamrock Shake and debating whether or not to give yet one more chance to this place.
A very Shamrockless Family!
