MDU is the worst company there is out there.I'm a single soldier living on FT IRWIN, CA .For the single soldier's that live in the barracks we only have two options for internet and cable.One is AWN which service sucks, the other is MDU which is even worst.I switch to MDU for internet and cable, it took a week before my cable started working.As for the internet it's the worst internet service ever!I subscribe for internet a week ago.They told me i have to be in my room between 9 and 1pm and if i'm not there i'll be charge a fee.So i said ok just have the guy call me like 20 mins before he comes.Well luckily i work right across from my barracks and i saw the guy at my door, so i had to run to my room so i won't be charge keep in mind the guy never call to let me know he's was coming.So he installed my internet and all that stuff and told me everything is good to go and then he left.Later that day i tried using my internet and it was super slow it took forever to load a page i was getting impatient so i just got off.The next day the internet was completely off!So i called CS.I was transferred to five different people!And each person put me on hold for like 5 to 7 mins, and the best part is that one of the CS transferred me back to the first CS rep that answered my call.And none of them know what their were doing or could offer any assistance.Anyways when someone finally took my call i told him that my internet was working really slow the first day and now it doesn't work at all.He told me that his company was aware that there is a problem on post with their internet and he had gotten alot of complaints about the service and the company was upgrading their network.He then schedule an appt for a week later for the tech guy to come fix the problem .Well my internet has come back on but it's still slow and it even gets disconnected from time to time.Bottom line people if your only option for internet and cable is MDU it's better you do without it because MDU is worst internet/cable service provider ever.Their CS reps is incompetent and their service is the worst!
