Charged Twice, never received product
I ordered Meaningful Beauty in March 2010. Payment was taken out of my banking account on the 15th of March. To date, April 19th, 2010 I have not received any product in the mail. A second payment was taken out today. I called Meaningful Beauty and they informed me that their records showed that the product was delivered at my home on 3/16/10. Not!! I received a notice from them on the 25th of March telling me that my order was on back order because they ran out of supplies. I told them that I wanted reimbursed for BOTH charges but was told that the second shipment would arrive tomorrow and they would send me an affidavit for the first charge. I canceled my account with them and am now in the process of getting my bank to reject any and all withdrawls from them. I told the woman at Meaningful Beauty that I thought they were a scam. Do not purchase anything from this place. Do your research unlike I did. They do not deliver but will take your money!!

Dishonest
I callled to order the products as advertsised for 29.95. But after asking the custromer service agent a few questions, I found that I would actually be paying over $100 and be enrolled in a "subscription" of sorts. I also found out that the product comes in 3 month supplies!! What woman buys beauty products in 3 month supply bottles!
What does this mean? This means that EVERY month you will be charged a little over 30 dollars BUT you don't reciev product every month. You only receive products once every 3 months!!!
If I am paying a company every month, then I want a new shipment with FRESH product every month.
I don't have any beauty products that last 3 months. That is disgusting.
The best part is I only found out all of this information AFTER I had given the service agent all of my information for the tv advertsied 29.95 special price. I told her no thanks and was worried for weeks that they would send me products anyway. Luckily they didn't and thank goodness because the reviews are terrible for this company. Shame on Cindy Crawford for putting her name on such a slimy deal. And shame on her for trying to charge us for huge 3 month supply bottles. Disgusting Cindy! Sell the product in stores at good prices instead of using phone "wheels and slimy deals."

cashed check did not send product
Meaningful Beauty solicited me by sending their advertising in a separate order from another company. I mailed a check in the amount of $25.90 for the promotional Cindy Crawford cosmetics. I did not recieve the product. After 2 months I sent letter to corporate headquarters in Palm Desert and Santa Monica. I also sent several emails. After 3 months Guthy-Renker has, in bad faith, refused to acknowledge my requests to address this matter. The product has never been sent and the check they cashed has not been refunded.

Automatic order sent after requesting it not be - unable to contact company to discontinue
I ordered this product to try it out. When I ordered they asked me if I wanted automatic deliveries every 30 days. I said NO. In 30 days I received another package and almost a $100 charge on my credit card. I have called the company and been put on "eternal hold" when trying to resolve the issue.

Scam
THEY LIE...A LOT! I called to order the 30 day size of Meaningful Beauty and when it arrived one of the items was missing and the toner container had broke and was leaking out in the box. I called to report this and could never get through. I work too many hours a week to spend the amount of time I was spending on the phone trying to call and complain. In 30 days I ran out, whichwhat I expected. What I did not expect was when the charges kept appearing over and over on my credit card. I tryed to call again and after several more calls, and waiting over 15 to 20 minutes each time, I would hang up. I inally got through yesterday and they said SORRY you are past the 60 day money back guarantee. I explained that They were charging me more than the amount quoted and I was missing product. They told me that after 60 days they will not address ANY problems, including over charges. They ended up charging my credit card 3 TIMES the price of the original product and there were NEVER any additional shipments. My credit card company is looking in to it because Meaningful Beauty refuses to correct the mistake. IT IS A SCAM... IF YOU LOOK AT THIS PRODUCTS COMMENTS ON THE INTERNET YOU WILL FIND SEVERAL NEGATIVES and the product is not even good!!! Go to the drug store and buy your product - they all use the same ingredients!!!

Dishonest Charges
I ordered the 29.95 special from the TV and was sent a confirmation for 108.00. I called and was told they did not have my customer information and could not cancel my order. I have sent many e-mails which they responded with there is nothing they can do. I called my Visa company to dispute the bill and was told I will have to cancel my card to keep the charges from being charged ongoing. I now have to pay shipping both ways and may get a credit. This is a scam! Run Run Crooks I am supprised Cindy Crawford would want to be a part of this.

Dissatisfied with product
their product burnt my skin, i called and complained
they said to wait a few days and try it again
i was called to colorado my sister was dying of colon cancer
i did not take the products with me because i could not use them
i was in colorado and just returned and now am trying to return the product for credit
i am being told they will not take it back
i absolutely cannot use this product
the packages are completely sealed still
please help me

Rip OFF Billing Practices
This company is a total rip-off. after looking at the commercials and going onto their website. I checked to see the cost of one single order with shipping. it was $29.00 plus shipping. I looked all over for any extra charges and didnt see any at all. I thought because of the price, I would try it. I did not know they considered the order a sign up for a CLUB. I did not want nor did I order a sign up for a club. I did not see that I had to call them to cancel any future shipments nor did I expect any. I received the merchandise, the product was so so and I thought that was the end of it. about a month later I received a a package in the mail that I knew was more product. I did even open the box and sent it back refused and wrote cancel, do not send any more shipments. about a day later I was charged almost $50.00 on my debit card which my bank paid even though there was not enough money in account to cover it. then because I had made severalsmall debit card purchases that day the billing came through I was charged over $270.00 in overdraft fees. I was furious. I call the company and they told me I had to send them a cancelation to stop shipments and they would not refund the charge to the account until they verified they had received back the extra shipment. I called my bank and they told me they would not reverse the charges until meaningful beauty did the reversal. and I had to wait until they did. Finally after almost a month I got the credit and my bank then credited me my overdraft fees. But I had to put over $300.00 in my account to cover charges while this mess was in limbo. I then had to cancel my debit card and get a new one to prevent other charges on my account from that company.
I then got a letter from the company stateing that all cancelations had to be in writing otherwise they would continue to bill me and continue to ship this unwanted product. althought it all stopped after I cancelled the debit card so they could not charge against it again. What a damn nightmare this company caused me. DONT ORDER A THING FROM THESE PEOPLE> THEY ARE TRUE BILLING SCAMMERS>

SCAM!!!
They are scam!!! They charged me twice on the same day. I didnt give authorization for the second charge. I called to speak with a supervisor I was told that they cannot see my acct and i cannot stop the shipping and the supervisor didnt give me her last name so I can report her. First name is Melisa... They are insisted on telling me there wasnt a second charge on my acct. I can see it on my statement. It is exactly same name GRC*MEANINGFUL BEAUTY and two different charges. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM...

continued shipments and charge after returning product
I rec and paid for my inital shipment of Meaningful Beauty products. I did not care for their product so I cancelled my autoship. I rec another shipment which I clearly marked on outside of box CANCELLED DO NOT SHIP TO THIS ADDRESS. I again rec another shipment and again returned as well as called. They cont to sent bills which I cont to discared. I began to rec notices from a collection agency which told me that the company had no record of rec my return and I was responsible for the 119.00 charge. Today I called Meaningful Beauty and after explaining my situation my call was "dropped" I called again and was treated very rudely by a representative who refused to give me her name. She did tell me they rec my return and would return it to me. And admitted they knowingly had the product in hand and were using a colection agency to force me to pay for something they knew I did not have. Is that legal???
