I too ordered the Acai Berry product (11-9-09) and got the Medi Colon Cleanse with it. I cancelled by phone almost immediately despite the lengthy time it took to receive the product (vs the allowable cancellation period of 14 days). But to make matters worse, I received another 'single' bottle at a whopping charge of $87.93 (4.95 shipping). I called again (11-30-09) to cancel and was forced to leave a voicemail. My message indicated I wanted a call back to confirm they were acting on my voice mail. No response. So a couple of days later (12-2-09) I called again to cancel. I spoke with Maife who told me the trial period had ended so I did not qualify for a refund. I told her repeatedly that I "did" cancel but her only response was that they had no record of it.
Note also, that PMAs number on their invoice (866-225-9239) has been "changed" to 310-388-8190 except that number is for an order management/distribution company called orderwave (www.orderwave.com) so it almost seems as if you place an order online to a company with a phone number and address (20100 S. Vermont Ave., Torrance, CA 90502) who then sends account information to this other company who continues to ship/bill product to you. But initially your contact information is PMA but getting hold of them is impossible. Trying searching for them.
So not only did they not cancel the first time I called, they didn't bother to call me back and clearly had no desire to rectify the situation when I actually talked to a live person. And I get charged for 2 long distance calls on top of it.
Seems this is another company who, at best, does not care about customer service but at worst is acting in an unscrupulous and even fraudulent manner. I'll have to let my credit card company go to bat for me. But I encourage you to get in touch with the Better Business Bureau and flood them with complaints.
And PLEASE, don't do business with them if you haven't already!
