office staff conduct

I had a bill go to collections which I understand but when I called in a refill of my prescriptions instead of giving them to the Dr. for approval they called the collection agency and gave them my name and told them I was trying to fill a prescription and also told the lady they werent filling my prescription if I still owed to collection. The collections lady then called my husband to tell him that I was not getting my prescription if we dont give her money. When my husband went to the Dr. office in person to find out why they were talking to a collections agency about my private meds they told him theyed go see and never came back out front. I then called and asked them to give my Dr. a message to call me, they wont do so. I cant get past the front office staff or nurses for the Dr. to even see my need for refills.

Improper Handling of Valuables

My father passed away suddenly after an accident in mid October. His personal property was improperly handled and subject to robbery of the deceased body and personal belongings. I have evidence that his wallet contained $186 and three credit cards. I have no proof of his wedding ring, but these items (wallet and ring) were not present or returned at any point in the process. The coroner did an examination for cause of death and the only item present at that point was his medical bracelet.

This organization is at fault for not properly securing my father's valuables and has been lethargic in their replies to my inquiries about this situation. If I entered any of the facilities here in Tacoma where I reside, the valuables are automatically collected and held in lock-up until I'm released from care.

My disappointment with this hospital's lack of proper security measures and passive response to my concern of lost articles, possible identify theft, and simply bad form ranges toward disgust. It makes a person hope they get sued and suffer punitive damages.
