January 22, 2010. I was sent by Dr. Steve Tietelbaum to the Medical Imaging Center of California for an MRI of my chest muscles. The muscles were severed from the sternum as a result of a surgery by Dr. Nick Carr, and Dr. Steve Tietelbaum said he was 100% sure of the muscles were gone because the skin and tissues were detached from the bone and this was the only way that could happen. The Medical Imaging Center of California was instructed to take pictures of "the muscle, and parenchyma and tissue, and a couple other views with it. Both breasts." They were told to "get all the views because we want to look at the muscle position and tissue with that and where the muscle is not attached to the sternum. They were "wanting to look at the muscle connections all in the breast area all around the implants." The Medical Imaging Center charged me over $1400 CAD but did not perform this analysis. They did an implant evaluation instead and kept my money.
