:: Ordered memory for my mac returned several time because it would work, the first memory they sold actually damaged my logic board to the point i can't even use my machine. It will cost me $249.00 to get it fix. meanwhile i send emails to these people no one replies I am tired of speaking to them on the phone. I have had it with them also told them to refund my money for the memory i returned (and have proofs that it was signed for) i went on a website called www.resellerratings.com/store/Memory_To_Go and there are others complaining of there service and damage to their logic boards. The last email and registered letter i sent to Mr. Sandy i told him i wanted my $136.00 dollar back and costs for repairing my machine, because someone is going to pay the damage either them or the company they buy memory from. haven't heard a word from them and like i told them i want everything in writing. I need help getting my full $136.00 plus repair costs. I am at a stand still I can't get my website updated can't work on my other website for illustration work, and I can't accept any work because I don't have the money to fix the machine or go buy software for a Pc. I have kept all my emails and inclusively got bad customer service from Issac when i demanded the product at my door before christmas since they had already claimed to mail it but there was no record in the post office of any package being sent to my address. They are very dificult to get a hold of but they should of known better than not to responde to my emails, since I told them I would be going to consumer affairs with this matter. I posted a complaint on the ripoff.com website and the resellerratings.com. with the following information "I actually ordered memory from memory to go back in September of 2008. The transaction went well the person I spoke to "Rena" was a sweet heart and guaranteed I can return it if there was a problem. Great! That's what you want to hear. The problem is that once I installed the memory which was said to be either Mac compatible or Mac memory, my Power book which worked perfectly fine started acting up. The screen would go black while I was using the machine and would shut down automatically. My screen started acting weird has large lines and one side of the screen was brighter than the other. Soon after I started having problems starting the machine was another problem because it would freeze while still starting, would freeze while logging in, while opening an application. I returned the memory for replacement at least 3 times and kept on having the same problem. I eliminated ever possible issue possible like purchasing a new power cord at the Mac store, deleted all extra picture and video files, and still I continue to have a problem. Returned it with letter, sent emails, sent a registered letter last week and no ones bothers to call me and refund me the money. Even when I told them that I would go to BBB or Consumer Affairs. The employee that's there now Issac had an attitude issue (hung up the phone on my face) when I told him it was ridiculous to wait 3 months for a new set of memory, apart from the fact I waited for it to arrive and a week later they didn't know where the package was, so he came up with an excuse that he was sending a new batch of memory to just return the other one if I received it. Which I never needed too meaning they never shipped it out because USPS had no record of that shipment. Finally I received it on December 26th 2009. The new memory still didn't work I couldn't get the machine to start had all these black lines across the screen I couldn't even see the background when the machine was restarting/loading. I purchased memory from crucial machine has improved since I can actually restart it but it freezes. Today got the power book looked at by another technician I was told the memory is not communicating with the logic board and that I need a new logic board. I am not a happy person right now since, I took care of this machine like it was my most valuable piece of property I had, and these people had to sell me bad memory. I will be getting the info from technician tomorrow and will be filling a complaint with consumer affairs. These people should not be in business if they can not provide top notch memory and customer service. I would suggest that anyone with a problem because of purchasing from them, file a complaint with consumer affairs. I am because, I don't have a computer to work with meaning I can't upgrade my website or accept freelance graphic design work to work from home cause I have a damaged machine. Good luck to all of you but don't ever do purchase from memory to go you will regret it when your machine stops working." Please help me the compliant on resellerratings.com I am having problems getting in to that account. Thanks in advance Sonia Valente.
