My experience with Mercantila (mercantila.com) was so bad that I have to let other people know they should stay away. First, I had issues with their web site order entry and ended up purchasing two items rather than just one. Then I tried to contact Customer Service and they were virtually unreachable by telephone (hold times of over an hour on more than one occasion) and purely one-way communication via the web site (could not reply to any e-mail that was sent). Finally, when I was trying to return items, I encounter the egregious 25% restocking fee and two-way shipping fees. You end up paying nearly half of the purchase price for something you did not want.
When you do searches for the best price on the internet, they will appear in your list from time to time. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE - DON’T DO IT!
