Damaged product/poor service
Mercantila is horrible to work with. I bought a $500 exercise bike that arrived in a a package that was barely held together. Of course when I opened the box it had 3 separate parts broken.
Rather than standing behind their product, Mercantila made me work with the Manufacturer. They took two weeks to send me the wrong parts. Mercantila's solution? A 15% discount for a bike that does not work. I buy tons of merchandise online and have never had an experience anything like this.

SERIOUSLY, never buy anything from them. They do not operate under standard business practices in the US -- this is more what one could expect from a 3rd world country's business standards.

Non delivery of product
Purchased girls bike on 12-28-2010 for an advertised in stock item with a week delivery. Received notice 2 weeks later of new shipping date 2-15-2011. Called on 2-7-2011 to confirm new date n they did. Received email on 2-14-2011 od new shipping date in mid march 2011. They were paid with pay pal on 12-28-2010. Called today spoke with a girl name Kizzy to demand refund n complained of mail fraud, she was hostile n hung up on me. Trying to resolve with pay pal now. Their seems to be many compliance on this company for similar fraud actions

Reiki table
I ordered a reiki table in August 2010. I spoke to a representive who went over the details with me and what the table came with. I asked her if the table came with a carrying case, she told me it did. The table arrived and there was no carrying case included. I called and they told me that they would contact the warehouse and get back to me. I called again a few days later and they said that a carrying case was not included with this model. I told them that the sales rep. said it did. They told me they would have to listen to the recording of the actual call, I said alright. I called again and was told they listened to the recording and that the sales person did not say that a carrying case was included. I remember asking this question several times during our conversation. I asked if I could listen to the recording, never got back to me, because they know they are not telling the truth. I also told them that the headrest that came along with the table keeps collasping. They told me they would get back to me and never did on that either. I spent over $500. on a table that has issues.

Missing items & Damaged product
I ordered a platform bed frame off mercantila for $999. The product delieved was actually in damaged condition with some of the wood as well as a large hole in the white leather headboard that came with the bed. Not to mention they only sent me out 1 of the 2 nightstands that I ordered. I called and spoke with a representative who promised things such as partial money back on the bed due to damages and the shipment of the other night stand. She said I would recieve an email that day by one of their managers. I have recieved nothing in regards to my damages or missing furniture. I then spoke again to a gentleman at mercantila in customer service who was rude and unhelpful and unable to provide me with any help in speaking with a manager or how I can go about resolving this issuue with the company. Again, on my 3rd call the gentleman I spoke to said oh wow, yea it looks like nothing has been done with this. I was told the manager would be in within an hour and I would be getting an email in regards to the night stand shipment by the end of the buisness day. I still haven't recieved any emails from their company.

Nothing like spending a $1000 on a bed set and to have a complete missing night stand and damages to the bed!! Customer service that blows smoke with no promise of action behind their words.

I will NEVER deal with Mercantila again & will work to warn others. Steer clear of Mercantila.

Worst customer service
I purchased a trampoline for my kids in June 2010. The color of the trampoline enclosure was different than what was pictured. The pads did not match the enclosure. Customer Service would not call me back and only responded by email. They refused to work with me and do an even exchange for the pads in the color that I wanted, but instead wanted to charge me a restocking fee of 25% or charge me for new pads in the color that I wanted. This is after I put in 3 phone calls for someone to call me back and several emails later. This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with on the internet. I DON'T recommend!

Fraud
The Worst company we have EVER dealt with. I am a business owner, trying to buy a trampoline for our entertainment company. I regret the day I came across "The Trampoline Superstore"

First, they charged us 619.00... THREE times one after the other. Then tried to tell us no they didn't.

Then, they told us they shipped our package, they were just waiting on a tracking number... two days later, we were told it would be shipped a week later.

NOW, they have lost our third box, the one with 99% of the trampoline itself...

We have called, but you can never talk to anyone in charge, just their reps. They lie through their teeth, and are nothing by scam artist. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Bed
Mercantila does not have the bed I ordered as it is "unavailable". Despite this, they have taken a payment of $2158.00 out of my credit card and has not refunded me for this amount since I cancelled the order and asked for a refund on 2/17. Mercantila keeps promising to process the refund and has not done it, despite several phone calls and an email to the company. It definitely appears to be untrustworthy as it will not expediently provide a refund for merchandise it cannot supply.

Refund Policy
I ordered a Haba Scribbel Desk on January 29, 2010 from Mercantila. The next day (Jan. 30th, 2010), I received an email stating that the product was not available and that I would be refunded.

I called customer service on Feb. 1st, 2010 and inquired about a refund of $617.50 to my debit card. Customer service stated that "Refunds take 10 business day, I know that's a long time."

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bur. on Feb 1st, 2010. I called Mercantila back and left a message with supposed supervisor, Andrew. I informed him that I was not willing to wait 10 days for a refund.

In all of my years of shopping on the internet, I have never encountered such an unethical, scuzzy, unprofessional, organization as this one. Mercantila's excuse for not refunding sooner than 10 business day..."The refunds are done manually." Sorry excuse!!! Not acceptable. Charging a customer for a product that's not even available...PRICELESS! My advice, STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE. YOU WILL GET BURNED!

Faulty Merchandise &Terrible Customer Service
I bought a trampoline from Mercantila in July. The enclosure has never fit and we have been trying to get a replacement ever since. We have been repeatedly lied to via email and over the phone. They keep promising to send an email with a return label and it never comes. We have even offered to ship it ourselves at our own expense and they won't provide an address. It truly has been the worst on-line shopping experience I have ever had. I so regret buying the trampoline from this company. They are absolutely horrible and offer no customer service what so ever!
Avoid shopping here at all costs!

Shipped wrong mattress
Four form emails sent using Mercantila's recommended response over six days. Three telephone calls made to their '800" number and yet no one responds. Mattresses were shipped as a component of a Full over Full Bunk bed set. Twin mattresses received, yet no one will address this problem from Mercantila.

Hold times on their telephone number is long. People are courteous, but nothing is being done other than to mention that I have been placed as a priority on the stack for their manager. The personnel answering have no power to address the problem. Note that their guarantee states that a return answer would be receive within 24 hours.
