Incorrect charge to credit card
I ordered the cat scratcher (BYGO) at a price of $19.95. My order arrived today and I went to my bank website to doublecheck the charge to my account. I was charged $116.60!!! Needless to say, my first call was to the bank to dispute this charge. This is outrageous!

total rip off
This company is a total scam. My mother ordered 2 bags over their automated phone order in July for $9.99 +tax and 2 1/2 months later was charged for $78.71 in merchandise she did not order. There was no packing slip or invoice and found their number when I googled their company. Their customer service reps were rude, unprofessional and tacky! DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS FROM THEM!!! They will not give you credit for unauthorized charges. Karma is a bitch so I hope they know that what comes around goes around.

over charge
Same as to other people it happened to me today:
order 2 bags - received 4 bags - my credit card
was billed for 4 bags-
the shipment did not include an invoice, or
packing list, or any information for customer
service-
This is unlawful business practice - dishonest.

Over Charged
Ordered a electric nail trimmer from Pedi-Paws it was to cost 19.95 and extra grinding wheels for the cost of shipping. I was billed $114.00 their was no receipt with the package so I had to wait for my Visa to come to see the cost and then it was to late to send it back as the 30 days were up. What a RIP-OFF.

I ordered one (1) black bag from merchandise direct I receive four (4) bags in different colors. 2 black and 2 red .I do not want four what can I do.

False price and gadget not worth the price
I purchased by phone 1 gadgets named "Listen in" for the price of 19, 95 and the message offered to buy a second for 5, 95 more. These gadgets don't perform like the avertising shows on TV, plus the amount charged on my American Express is 82, 55$. I don't have any bill. To return those will cost me to much money. It is a real fraud.

Double charged for leather good
An across the shoulder leather brown bag was purchased in early July.
Two bags were sent to two different people in the same household and charge twice when only one bag was ordered. There was no invoice nor billing statement.
This second bag needs to be returned and a refund needs to be made immediately.
I don't know what kind of business is being run, but you need to give it some serious attention.

Terrible experience!
I wrote a report last night about getting ripped off by Merchandise Direct. I ordered 2 Buxton Bags and 2 hand-held voice reminders. I returned all of the items and it cost me approximately $10.00 and I sent them Return Receipt Requested which is more expensive! I received approximately $30 back instead of the $66.70 paid. Today I called the company and was told that the remainder of the money was for shipping/handling!
I said 'there was never an invoice in the bag... how would I know that? When I called in the order the TV ad did not indicate nor did the voice mail indicate that it was that much'. The sweet girl on the other end said 'I'm really sorry but that is our standard shipping fee'. I could tell she did feel bad for such a ripoff. So... I will never purchase another thing from television. Sadly there are companies that are honest that advertise on TV but Merchandise Direct has hurt these companies.
Perhaps these other businesses should start looking into the matter.
