I called and they scheduled me for an appointment in almost 2 weeks out 13 days.
When I arrived for my appointment they asked me to sign in and wait.
After waiting for almost an hour, I noticed that new patients where comming in the door and getting called before me. This whent on for a while and I assumed they had other doctors who where seeing them.
After anbout 50 minutes (I did not have my watch on, and there was no clock in the waiting room)
I decided it seemed too long and told the front desk "Alot of people have walked in and have been called, and I'm still waiting", she told me I would be next, and I further inquired and she told me she missed my name on the sign in sheet. I asked how could you miss my name, she said "because we have multiple sign in sheets going" .
After about 10 more minutes, the doctor finally called me, but instead of Dr. Rebecca Abraham was now on a personal phone call, I waited in the doctor's room, for another 15 minutes untill a doctor in training, some sort of temp came in and saw me instead. I asked why she was seeing me instead of the Dr. Rebecca Abraham of which I had an appointment for almost 2 weeks, and she said because, she is on the phone.
I asked for the district manager's number or how to complain about this, and at first the desk girl was handed me a blank notebook page to write on and I said I would rather have a district manager or owner of the practice so they could correct this problem from happening again. I was given a business card for a manager and called and she just tried to offer lot's of sales rebuttals about how most people go outside and smoke and miss being called. I told her I didn't smoke and was waiting patiently for almost an hour, she said well it was just a mistake of human error by the front desk girl. I told her I knew about the multiple sing in sheet and that was a problem if there is more than one list of names, how can you possibly manage a "first come first serve" waiting list.
She told me it works for them this way, and it has been working this way for a long time.
After more of her sales rebuttals I decided I was wasting my breath, and have since changed my care provider.
This office has multiple sign in sheets, so if you sign in on the wrong sheet you might not ever get called, unless you go to the front desk and remind them that you are still waiting.
I can't believe Dr. Rebecca Abraham missed my appointment scheduled 2 weeks prior, and made me wait for an hour in the waitng room and then was on a personal phone call so she had her temp take my very late appointment.
