Put me on hold for longer then they talked to me
So i purchased a Samsung Caliber at Best Buy. the phone ended up being defective so i returned it an got my money back. that same night i called metro to get a refund for the plan charge($50), when i got to a rep i explained the deal, she looked over my account and had me on hold longer then she actually talked to me, when she finally came back on she said, "i confirmed with my supervisor, and your going to have to go to a corporate store to get your money back", i felt like this was bull, being that i paid over the phone with them and not at a "Corporate Store"... i went to the store the following day(Sat), i explained to them what happened, and they looked at me like i was stupid, "you didn't pay thru us why would we refund you" but they were nice enough to direct to another dep. called billing matrix which weren't open till monday, i finally called today(Mon) and the rep there said he couldn't do anything for me that i needed to talk to metro, so back to the original dep i went, there a rep told me that the service was active and that they couldn't refund my money, so basically i wasted all this time and i still lost out, but she had a brilliant idea, why didn't i just go out and get a new phone so i could use the service... at that time i asked for her supervisor, i went on hold for ten minutes for her to come back and say, "my supervisor looked in to your account and it seems this line has only been active for 6 days so you qualify for a refund"... i hate there CS so much. took me 4 days to get my money back, and just to go back to the same dep. where i had asked for it originally ...

Awful service and impossible to return defective phone
Been with metro for over 2 years and have purchased 2 phones. When i purchased the third as soon as i got home i realized it was crap took it back same day within the hour the reps couldnt even fix it and they said no returns you only can return the phone is if your just signing up for metro service what a way to show appreciation im stuck with crappy phone.

Where is my REBATE?
I had purchased a MetroPCS cell phone on March, and they informed me that I could get a REBATE back if I fill out the form and mail it to: Samsung/ MetroPCS March Messaging Mania, P.O. Box 910, Bensenville, IL 60106. Must be postmarked by 5/12/10 and received by 5/19/10. Allow 10 weeks for shipment. I filled out the form and mailed it before the due date on the month of March. Today, is 5/31/2010 and I haven't got anything yet from this company. No Rebate!!
This is 'FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!'
Can someone investiage this issue?

Unfortunately it is the worse service that I have ever had
I sign for metro pcs some months ago. Unfortunately it is the worse service that I have ever had. I paid for 2 months 5$ more for international text message but I had that service only for 3 weeks. Because of my limited time, I did not have a chance to take off that service. Finally I did it.

This month I paid my bill as usual. Without any provision the phone was suspended. I called the company and after a very consuming time and misunderstanding finally they explained to me that I owe them $15. I do not know the reason, and it is impossible to be in contact with someone that helps in that company.

My experience with Metro PCS is very bad. I do not recommend anyone to have a service from that company. It is better to pay a little more money but you have a support in any time that to pretend that you are saving.

Disrespect
I was an at&t customer before I transferred over to MetroPCs. I decided to change my wireless company because I liked the plans MetroPcs was offering. I went to the MetroPcs office on florin road on May 11, 2010, and the representative that helped us was Mohammad (I think he was the manager of the office) He was really nice to us, he opened an account for both of us, ported our number from AT&T, and our contacts from our old phones. We left the office very satisfied. My wife and I do not use our phones very much, so it was about 7pm when we left the office and when we got home we just placed the phones on charge and went to bed. The next morning when I tried to make a call from my phone, there was no dial tone and when I called my wife, her phone received my call but I could not hear anything she was saying and she was not able to hear anything either. I was not able to hear anything every time anyone called me or when I made a call. We both are students, so we had class and were not able to go into the office until 4pm. Before going to the office I took my phone out of my pocket and saw a blank white screen. When I got to the office, we met with Mohammad again and told him about the issues we were experiencing with the phone. He said that we need to go to the corporate and have the phone exchanged. I said I did not want this same phone again because the phone was so fragile that the screen broke while it was in my pocket. He said get the phone exchanged and I will give you a different phone. After getting the phone exchanged, I went back to him and Mohammad said that he will not be able to give me a different phone even though he told me that he will. I then said that if I cant get a different phone then I want a refund because according to their policy, I could get a full refund if I return it within 7 days and if there was less than one hour talk time on the phone. Well, Mohammad did not like the refund idea so he went off like a bomb and started yelling. I do not know why the refund idea ticked him off. He was behaving really immaturely and rude. He was saying things that he is not allowed to say to the customers (I know because I worked in retail too) such as: go back to AT&T, do not argue or else I will have you thrown out and we did not even say anything infact he kept saying things and making matters worse, but every time we wanted to reply to what he said he would tell us to not say anything or else I will throw you out. He said alot of things but I forgot because I was so shocked he was saying all these things that he was not allowed to. I did not want to cancel my account with metroPcs because I like the plans, but if they have managers like Mohammad in the offices, I do not think I want to keep this service. Also he called the Elk Grove office where we had the phone exchanged, to find out how much talk time we had on the broken phone. When I asked him how much talk time I had on the phone, and he replied in a very angry tone and said, " you definetly have more than one hour talk time, you know you had more than one hour of talk time, that is why you broke your screen". I was completely shocked at his false accusations I could not believe he was accusing me of breaking the screen on purpose. I really wanted to prove to him that he was falsely accusing me of something that is not true. I was furious with his behavior and lies, so I went to the corporate office and asked them to call Elk grove office and ask them how much talk time I had on the broken phone and when the lady from corporate called, she said they turned the phone on but there is no way to find out how much talk time I used because the screen was broken. Even the lady at the corporate said that Mohammad was lying because if the screen is broken then how was he able to find out the talk time. My phone was not even working, so how could I have more than an hour talk time? Mohammad sent me home to get the rest of the stuff for the phone I wanted a refund for, but I did not want to go back to such an immature, lying, disrespectful person, so that's why I went to the corporate.

deceptive practices
I can't believe anyone uses this company no matter how cheap they are, the government should do something to stop them from misleading the public and wasting people's money. When I asked for "the cheapest service they have" I was signed up for more than was necessary, which was not their cheapest service, the salesperson deliberately misled me. The new phone was supposed to have a rebate, but the form provided for the rebate had an expiration date earlier than the date I bought the phone. When I went back to get another form, they told me the promotion had ended. They have NO WAY for you to change the number of times your phone rings before going to voice mail. Not to mention that their service is absolutely terrible, no matter where you are located. Voice mail is often received in the phone 24 hours late. I had them once years ago and they were even worse then, I thought I'd give it another try, and it has been a waste of money and a huge waste of time. DROPPED CALLS, LOST BUSINESS, VERY POOR RECEPTION ALL OVER FLORIDA. Warn your friends and family.

Never get this phone and never trust metropcs
I bought one of thos ZTE Essenze from the metropcs located in meijers at 13 and john R on December 17, 2009 at about 4:30pm. I bought the phone when I was on lunch at work, I would say at about 4:30pm or later.

The guy rambled on about how what a "BAD MOTHERF##KER" this phone was, so I bought is for $106. I left work at 11pm when I got home I went to bed. The next day I woke up at 10:45pm, I didnt have to be to work intil 1pm so I watched a movie. I left for work and grabbed my new phone and put it in my big front pocket. I started to cupping candy at work and decided to text my friend, and what do you know the screen wasnt working it was all white. so I decided to take my phone back to get my money.I punched out for lunch and went up to there counter in meijers, I waited in line for about 22 mins because the women behind the counter was talking to another customer. I showed some one else that was waiting in line the phone and how it broke within less than 24 hours, The woman behind the counter finaly asked "WHAT DO YOU WANT" I was like look at the phone, She picks it up and takes it out of the case and saw that the phones screen was all white, She instantly said did you drop the phone I said no, then she said so you sat on it, I said no it was in my front pocket which are huge and not tight. she said nothing after that, then I asked can I get my money back for the phone i do not wish to trade back for the same crappy phone I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! she tells me i need to have the case and everything that came with it so i tell my boss im taking a long lunch I go home and get my box and every thing that came with it including the crappy phone. When I got back to meijer the guy that sold me the phone was in there, once i showed up he started tell me the same thing the girl did, "YOU DROPED IT OR SAT ON IT " I Said no I did not, but after about 30 mins of him telling me it was me and something about "What did god break your phone, did I break your phone, we dont have a button that breaks your phone or something like that, he started to piss me off I figured he was cussing so I started to cuss. Then he told me to Get the fuck out of here before i do something to you, I was THINKING WHAT IS THAT suppose to mean ??? IS HE going to hurt a customer ??? I walked away pissed off I called my dad and told him about it he came up at about 7 PM I took my break and went with him, my dad was talking nice at first but the guy wouldnt lisson to my dad too, he told my dad they just came out 8 days ago its new there in nothing wrong with this phone and never will have any problems, hes a tech he said i know this phone is good, My dad asked what kinda of crappy phone are you selling if it breaks within 12 hours of owning it with out me abusing or sitting on the phone. the guy just wouldnt give up and admit the phone was the problem not the customer. my dad told him you dont give a shit about the customers do you and he said nope i dont give a shit about customers, He said about 2 times, the funny thing about that a few other customers were in line looking at the guy as he said it. he told my dad theres nothing he can do for us and said something about a some office that wasnt there, that could help up.

I would say never get this phone and never trust metropcs, they are con artist, they act nice when you are handing them $106 but one you have a problem they dont do anything for you and threaten you on top of all that, I dont know if metropcs corporates care but I do so Im calling customer service tommarow and sending a letter to corprate asking for apology for all the trouble and for the guy threatening me. I dont think meijer would like to here about metropcs customer service, because meijer is a friendly store that is big on customer service, they take back anything even apples with bites taken out of them NO QUESTIONS ASKED. metropcs has something like that but they dont really care about the customers and wont give your money back even after asking a thousand question and accusing the customer that it is his falt and there is no way the phone has problems, and on top of it threaten the customer, but dont let me discurage you from buying the phone buy your on your own after owning it.

The worst service ive ever had. the most retarded employees ive ever had to deal with over and over. my authorised dealer NEVER EVER picks up the phone so i have to drive accross town to ask why the fuck my phone isnt working again. HATE metro P.O.S.

Incredibly Poor Service
The unbelievably poor quality of service with MetroPCS is distressing. I purchased a $50.00 plan to have unlimited talk, text and web. The web is NEVER available. ANYWHERE. The talk on the brand new phone I bought from them is very poor quality sound and difficult to understand most of the time. Dropped calls every minute or two and there is absolutely NO service in many, many areas of Southern California.

The only thing that seems to work pretty well is the TEXT feature. I'm new to texting, and I really enjoy it. But everything else about this company and the new Samsung 3G phone is a disaster.
