Mexicana is filing for bankruptcy and I'd avoid them until things get sorted out. They changed flight times on me, making a connection (with them) impossible. It took hours to finally sort things out. The actual flight was brutal. As we arrived at the gate they announced the plane would be stopping in Tijuana for refueling. this made no sense except maybe they couldn't buy fuel in the US and needed to do it in Mexico.
Staff was rude, meal was cancelled and the Duty Free truck came by three times.
Unrelated to the money problems, several passengers and I smelled smoke. We mentioned this at three different times to a stewardess and she finally came and sprayed us with her perfume and said, No you don't smell it!
