I recently found a web site claiming local jobs at home for companies like Yahoo, Google and other large companies in an attempt to local contacts with the comsumer. It was an online program called Search Income Pro. They help you find jobs with in your area. But it is not what its hyped to be. It was a one time fee of $1.95 only to get started. I read through the terms and this was the only fee unless you wanted to upgrade. So i got started and gave them my credit card information and got started on the site. Well I recently was charged an additional $59.84 on my account. And when i tried to contact them using the Phone number listed on my account, 866-673-3212 to dispute what happened i found out the number is a non working number. I then goggled MHM and found that the website is a scam.
I learned from another victim that the only way to contact them is through e-mail. They have no address or contact number listed on the members area page. (The only way to contact them is through the banner on the members page at www.sipandmm.com and it will display Call 1-800-405-8582 ext 500) This person called the number and found that this number was also a fake. I being me also tried the 1-800-405-8582 number and also found the number to be a fake.
I called my bank and got statements and was told because I authorized MHM to charge my account, $1.95 charge, I was authorizing MHM to charge my account period. Any charges I did not authorize I would have to try to recover my money on my own due to my authorization the charges are not Fraudulent Charges.
The only information they had on the company was the fake 866-673-3212 number and they were out of UT which is Utah. So please be cautious. This is WRONG and I wish with all the Suits out there trying to help the middle class survive their financial toilet flush you would think someone could do something about this. If there is any attorney that believe they can fight this in court I would LOVE TO BE ONE OF THE PEOPLE TO SAY MY PIECE.
