july 9th, 2009 i contacted txu to get some quotes on kilowates, how much they would charge me and what I was currently paying. I am and have always been a green mountain energy customer. I do not and have not had a txu account. That day Kayla and I spoke and she said that she would hold my request until the morning of the 10th. On the 10th I phone back and said that I would continue with Green Mt. Enrg. The supervisor that I got his name is Eddy said that he would try to do what he could but it looked like the meter was to be read on Mon the 13th. I never authorized the switch nor did I confirm anything. In the meantime Eddy said that my social was not mattching nor was my drivers license. So in his opinion that I did not have an account. Of course. then that was it. Monday the 13th had electricty. Tuesday came home no electricty the temp outside in dallas was 103 or higher. I walked in and immediately called Green Mt. Eneg. They said after spending my minutes which I am on a limited budget that they did not turn it off TXU turned it off. I called TXU spoke to oh, let back up on the 10th Mary assured me that there would be nothing happening to my electricity she put notes to say this was not to be on and the word acceleration was mentioned. Then tuesday I spoke to Anna and meliney and they said that no one here at this house has an account with TXU so then this was about 5:30 and still no help. Finally after asking severa times to speak to the higher department still nothing I got hung up on several times and ended up using up my 50 minutes that I had to pay for. I had no electricity. I want my reconnection fees paid with Green Mt. and I need my 50 paid for. I need to speak to someone as soon as possible.
