What a scam!!! I used Michael C Fina for my wedding registry for a wedding back in Aug 07. We did their special hold program since they managed to convince us that it would cut down on returns and we didn't really have room for a 10 piece set of china in a NY apt. Well, we released our order in Oct and were told it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. I figured we wouldn't be able to use it for Thanksgiving, but maybe New Year's. Yeah right... 3 months go by before Fina bothers to send us a form email to tell us the china has been delayed. Then 4 months. We're told in March (5 months after order!!!) that they're waiting for one platter but can ship out anyway. I told them to hold the order and ship it at once since we're having it sent to a friend's home.

Well, guess what? Today, May 25th, I check my credit card online and discover a $200 charge from Fina. They had split our order into two pieces and without telling us were only now sending the rest of the china -- gee, that makes it 7 months that they got to hang onto our money under the ruse of "still waiting for china delivery, " not counting the time they got to hold onto the cash while we were engaged.

I would absolutely NEVER order anything from this company or use them for anything. Now I'm just glad we didn't purchase our rings from them.
