I am owner of a small business. We needed a human resource management system and a customer relationship management system for our growing business. I found BPMB, Inc through a mutual Linkedin contact of Michael Mai.
I informed Michael Mai of my budget and the needs of my office. He told me that his company would have no problem setting up what we needed within our budget and he would get me a proposal ASAP.
The next day I received the proposal as promised and everything looked good. He informed me that a 15% deposit was required and we should have our new PeopleSoft system up in a month or so. I agreed and sent him the deposit. After about a week he told me that the system integration to our network was having problems, and to fix it we would need more time. I asked him what the issue was and he said a bunch of things that didn’t really make any sense. I’m not a computer expert but do know enough to see he was bull sh*ting me. I told him that if he could not do the project I would find someone else that could. He assured me that it was not a problem and that it would be on time.
About a month later and he informs me that our new PeopleSoft system was ready. After testing it myself I noticed that none of the custom configurations I requested was done. It was as if all they did was install the software and left it at that. I was very upset at this point and told him that this is not what we paid for. He told me everything would be taken care of. Another two weeks pass and I don’t hear from him. I called his office and he was never there. After a few days we get a bill from BPMP for three time what I was quoted. I informed them I would not pay for a broken system three times what was promised. They told me that they would send my bill to collections and sue me if I didn’t, I told them to go ahead and never heard back.
Stay away from Michael Mai and BPMB, Inc. They will waste your time and money.
