on behalf of your bank i recieved a mail informing me to pay COT to recieve my lottery money. I informed the person who contacted me on behalf your bank that my bank in india is not a centralised bank and online transfer of the said money is next to impossible and rather they should be sending a crossed cheque on my name as i have furnished details to them. but they still presisted to which i have to concede that i have already a word with regulating bank in india and they confirmed me that in such case where person is not able to make the payment of any monetary demands which can'tbe fullfilled until payment of prize money is done. then such obligations are attached to the cheque thus issued and money is deducted from the account on its own but besides my bank is not centralised so online bankingis not possible and only cheque can be issued. Later i came to know that many such emails are in circulation and many poeple have already lost considerable amount of money thus on your bank's name as even after paying the COT amount they never recieve the prize. In India amount mentioned in these emails for COT is at times yearly income of some household. I took these pain to request you to take action against the company circulating such claims on your name as many ill informed poor people have suffered because of such emails.
