I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing the Microspot Interiors software for MAC. After reading their web-site that clearly says "3D design has never been easier" I purchased the software to the tune of $244.00 US dollars. I came to find out that this software is not easy at all. in fact, it's impossible to create the type of renderings showcased on their site without years of experience as a designer or architect. the program is super technical and you will have to spend hours reading their incomprehensible online manuals (which are difficult to read while working with the program.)

There are far easier and far less expensive programs available for PC's (some as little as $0.00)

Microspot also refused to offer a refund for their products even though there is no information regarding refunds or lack there of on their web-site. the e-commerce is not even run by Microspot (another detail they do not mention on their site until you try and get your money back) but a company in Cologne Germany who is not authorized to give refunds from Microspot.

I believe Micropsot's products are probably useful for professional designers but if you are a novice I would not recommend this software. it is was too expensive and not user friendly at all (I have yet to be able to layout my simple 500 square foot apartment floor plan after a week of working with the program) for a novice even though it is advertised as such. save your money and do not buy this software and I would be wary of their other software if you are not a professional designer.
