A woman came to my house selling magazine subscriptions or renewals and claiming it would help her get her life back on track. She said it would help her go back to school. I subscribed to a 2 year Vanity Fair subscription and paid her $63, $48 of which was supposed to cover the magazine. I have not received the magazine. I do not normally buy anything from street vendors but she was especially charismatic, my daughter was with me and I thought I would do something charitable!
