So on November 20th I purchased a 6 week old maltipoo. When i got him home he seemed very sickly and was having very bad diarrahea and was extremely bony. I called the breeder and told him something didn't seem right with him. That Monday I took him to the vet and spent over 150 dollars on him. The vet diagnosed him with coccidia and pneumonia. It took a week for the diarrahea to finally subside. What makes me really mad is when I purchased him he said to give him yogurt cause it helped with his bones the vet told me to give him yogurt for his diarrahea so he had diarrahea and still sold him to me. When I spoke to him he said that the puppy was always sickly and really bony, BUT HE SOLD HIM TO ME KNOWING THIS. A week after this I had to take him back to the vet again cause he was losing hair on his face, was still weezing and breathing fast. They then diagnosed him with mange, puppy herpes and found fleas. The doctor said the breeder was supposed to give him his shots to prevent puppy herpes and he obviously never recieved any of his shots when he stated he did give the puppy his shots around 5 weeks which was to early. The breeder offered to swap him out for a new puppy (probably another sick puppy) when he told me this was his last puppy left I guess to pawn him off to me. Finally $600 dollars later he's finally almost healthy still sick but almost there. Also he said this dog would not get over 8 pounds and he's already at 5 pounds at 9 and a half weeks. I think it's really mean how these people treat these dogs. It was very depressing for me and my bf not knowing if this dog was going to live or die. He barely made it im thankful for him. But feel sorry for people still purchasing dogs from this horrible, dishonest breeder.
