False Advertising/Scam
Was under the impression only had to pay $4.95 shipping/handling for "free" sample. Instead, was charged $130.41 plus a $35.00 overdraft fee as I hadn't made a deposit yet - who knew I needed that much in my account at that moment. Called to cancel and was told it was too late to return the unused portion of the makeup and they wouldn't be able to refund me anything. Advised I would refer them to the Better Business Bureau and am working on that. DON"T GET HOOKED ON THIS SCAM!!!

FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS
I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FROM E-ADVERTISMENTS OFFERED AS FREE TR IAL OFFER ONLY HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING. AFTER RECEIVING THE PRODUCT NOT ONLY WAS I DISPLEASED ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF MAKE-UP NOT TO MENTION OF THE BILL THAT WAS ATTACHED. THE SAD PART WAS THAT I COULD NEVER SPEAK TO AN AGENT AND FINALLY GAVE UP. THE PRODUCT ITSELF MATCHED MY SKINTONE TO A TEE AND IM DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS BRAND IS NOT IN A STORE FRONT AT RECESSION PRICES. I AM A WOMAN OF COLOR AND TO FIND A MAKE-UP TO MATCH MY SKIN TONE.

First off. They have NO website or email information AT ALL in their starter kit to be able to look up who sent this to me, who are these people and why they sent it to me or to be able to answer any questions I may have without having to speak to a customer service Rep. Their 866# when you call is generic and doesn't have any info as to whom you're calling until a Rep answers the line.
They got me for a $130.00. I received this box in the mail. Didn't know who, what why or where it came from. I set it on the counter until I received either an invoice or email, something! Yesterday I received a text msg from my bank alerting me my acct balance had dropped below the threshold low. As I stood baffled reading my text I also started to develop a migraine, stress related nausea & major anxiety because I had to call in to pay my light bill before the end of the day or my 5 children & I would be in the dark the next day. I pulled up my statement on the computer & all it had was a 800# where the company info should be that the debit or credit was charged to. I called & they told me it was beyond the 10 day trial period, I asked her so "you're telling me I'm out $130.00"? She started to ramble typical crooked salesmen mumbo jumbo, whooptie whoop whoop & B.S. when I interupted and very aggitated and aggressivey I asked her "SO ARE U TELLING ME I'M OUT OF $130.00 THEN??!!! She said well, uh, uuhhh yes & I replied to that "That's ALL I ASKED YOU IDIOT"!! $130.00????? For crap I will never use, can't sell, can't give it away and every bone in my body is telling me it's a sin to throw away $130.00 of Brand New, Trendy cosmetics. I don't know what to do. I am sick. BTW, we won't be in the dark until Monday, nonetheless we will be in the dark & cold, we have ZERO Family here in S.A. It's that old feeling again, the Big guy steps all over the little guy, completely helpless, completely robbed & stolen from and because I am poor I have no where to turn for help & nobody to even talk to. This feeling of being victimized is very similar to the feeling felt after being robbed and mugged just without the physical wounds or fear they'll return to attack me again cause I cancelled my card. I didn't trust them that they wouldn't rob me again next month. The humility, panic, fear & worry over how I'm going to feed my children with out any electric is absolutely heartbreaking, embarrassing and scary. I could lose my family because these assholes in Harrisburg, PA. are sitting fat & full on my last $130.00 until only God knows when. I had to sell my kids Bunny and my bedroom set to pay my bills this month and this was the last of everything I owned with any kind of monetary value. I'm sure they're gonna eat & sleep & be warm with no worries though. Never again.

over charged for $1 offer
ordered the trial offer for $1. My bank account was hit for $139.99. They said that an email was sent the day the product was shipped stating that I had 10 days to cancel. Never received an email. I am cancelling my bank card just to stop them
from taking anymore money.

Product offer
I fell for the offer for a card from Walmart worth XXX if only I would try two of the products on the page listed. One was Netflix, another was Mineral Elements by Eden. They would send me a sample of the product in a plastic styled cosmetic bag with some matching plastic brushes. All I had to do was try the product and even if I did not like it, I could keep it and cancel my membership. Not so, according to the "Terms of Offer" page that was emailed to me which states " You immediately become enrolled in the "Club membership" and, if you do not take affirmative action to cancel the Club membership before the end of the 60 day Trial period and return the remaining make-up and accessories in accordance with the Returns and Refunds Policy, (a) your credit or debit card will be automatically charged $130.41 for the Introductory Make-up Kit, and; (b) you will continue to be a member of the Club" As for the Walmart card - forget it! It cannot be tracked down or claimed.

Re: Mineral Makeup Scam
I ordered a trail of their companies product. I phoned then and canceled receiving more products being sent to me. Apparently, in the Terms and Conditions that you were agreeing upon when you press "enter" when placing your order, they say that you are approving this company taking $130.00 from your account. This is done even if you cancel as I above stated i did. When I phoned I was told that there is no refunds etc., So, I am paying, both the postage and $130.00 for a beauty product that I could have bought at Walgreens for about $10.00. This is so outrages, what can a person do when this happens? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Betty

Fraud
I saw this on a link from a website. Free trial offer, just pay shipping & handling ($7.32). Nowhere on the "free offer" did it state "If you don't return this within 15 days of ordering we will charge your account $69.41." If the statement was there at all it was in either very small print or in another link that I failed to click on. This is a true bait and switch offer and the company is obviously unethical in its practices or this type of operation would not be necessary for them.

In the first place there is a small zipper bag, 3 small brushes and 4 SMALL containers (2.5 gr each) of different foundations and powders in the box. In no way are the total of the items worth $69.41 + $7.32. With just a postcard that says nothing about the 15 days to call for a return number. Well it took 10 - 14 days to get the stuff and there was no info on where to return the stuff if I wanted to, only the number for customer service. When I go to the website it tells me that any returns or cancelations to notify the company with No info on how or where to go to do that. I am very unsatisfied with this product and the business practices of this company.

In the second place, I wear very little makeup and was going to try this to see if I'd like it as well or better than what I am currently using. It came to my home and stayed here for a few days (making it past the time limit) before I even opened it. Certainly before I saw the unexpected charge on my card. I hopefully have managed to get future automatic charges for their "Club Membership" canceled. My very unsatisfactory rude customer service representative is named Carol and the cancellation confirmation number is 1068. She told me that I had been notified in an email which I never received. However I am still stuck with the product that they will not let me return and the totally unexpected charge which I can least afford.

I certainly hope a lot of people check this site before getting stuck by this company. Beware of trial offers of any kind. This is the first time I've had this happen and it will be the last.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MINERAL ELEMENTS BY EDEN. If you have been taken advantage by this company, file a complaint with the state's Better Business Bureau.

Unauthorized chargs
I agreed to try a membership for $1.00. I did not understand that I would have to return the product within 10 days of them shipping it to me. I only received it 5 days later. On the 10th day they charged my credit card $130. This make is junk and is not even worth $25. I would like to get my money back.
