Hidden Membership fee
I purchased a sample kit for $1 and paid shipping and handling. I then get a phone call about a week later from the company asking if I had received the product. They then asked me if I was interested in the monthly offers which they were told no and were NOT authorized to charge my card further for any reason. Today I checked my checking account and I am now a negative balance. The company charged my card 130.41 and says that it is non refundable. In the damn box they shipped they did not leave any paperwork about the damn cancellation policy and they claim it was an "outside" company that had called me not their company. I cried and pleaded with them because they took part of my rent money. Do not buy from this company they are a bunch of liars!!!

Cancellation of order/order shipped anyway
I submitted a request for a trial offer of this make-up. When the company representative phoned me to verify my order, I specifically asked if this purchase of a trial size enrolled me in any monthly program, or if additional fees would apply. The person said NO. She then went on to read a script to me (very quickly) that said I'd be billed each month for additional shipments. I said at that point and time that I wanted to cancel the trial order and that I didn't want to receive any product from them, at any time. Furthermore, I asked them to remove my name from their calling list and their email solicitation list. I just received an email that said my order has shipped. I requested two days ago that I not receive anything from them. I just called to complain and cancel the order, they said the product has already shipped and I now will be responsible for it's return or be billed. I am furious. This company has placed charges on my credit card without my authorization and I consider this to be FRAUD.

risk free trial scam.
I called to cancel the product and i was told i could not get my money back becuase I had missed the the trial dead line. Apparently the 10 day trial starts the date you order the product not when you recieve it. You don't 10 days to use it. If it takes 2 days to recieve it you have 8 days to get it back to them. Less than that if you count the days you use to send it back. They got me for a $130.00 box of worth less powder. Don't by this product.

hidden return policy
I called Mineral Elements on Nov.4 2009 spoke with a Kim and cancelled account, within the proper 14 day FREE TRAIL NO RISK! I DID NOT AUTHORIZE ANY OTHER CHARGES, BUT, THE ORIGINAL CHARGE OF $1.00 PLUS S-H.

I receive Social Security direct deposit and on Dec.4th they charged my account $130.00 dollars. Of course they are not open right now. That is part of my rent and will place me in direct woe. I emailed them and am awaiting a reply. If they do not replace my funds and delete my card account, What actions can I take.

Thank you, God bless! and Happy New Year!

Unauthorized charges on credit card
I tried the free trial for a $1.00 but turned out to be $9.00. I try to cancel it but the number keeps saying it is not available. Then on Christmas eve it took 130.from my credit card. This is a scam and nothing in this free trial is worth 130 dollars.

Fraud
I did a survey for a $1 to sample their makeup (then included was shipping and handling) so my $1 turned into $9. I received an email that the product was shipped on 12/10/09 I did not receive it until 12/15/09 (holiday mail) then they charged my account on 12/18/09 which was 2 days early for the 10 day trial. But I supposedly received a trial that was to last 60 days. These containers will not last a couple of weeks. Hence the point for the free trial - you expect trial size. I was charged $130.41 for minimal makeup that does not work. Do not buy this product! Do not do a trial of this product. You will be screwed! I called customer service and sat on hold for 6 minutes the first call after someone answered. Then had to hang up and call back and when I told I could not hold she said "Well you will just have to." So I asked for a supervisor (Heathter) - she of course was no help. They need to take courses in customer service, because I have been in customer service for 20 years and never have I treated a customer like that even when they wished ill on my child.

Sincerely,
Michelle

unauthorized chares-false advertizement
Through a Walmart email there was tagged on several questionairs that I filled out a ad for a FREE sample of their product for a $11.00 s&h charge. I received the "sample" along with a contract I was responsible for their product to be mailed to me every two months charged to the credit card I gave for the s&h "costs". I called the customer service dept. and was told I was expected to return the " free sample" at my cost. when I told her I had thrown it in the trash under the written information that it was MY FREE SAMPLE as the product was useless I was told I would be charged for it!!! To begin with the cosmetic had less coverage than if I held my breath for five minutes .I feel the company should be sued and I intend to turn them into every bureau I can locate.
Sincerely, Carol Ferguson.
