MINERAL ELEMENTS Reviews

charge to my account of $130.41
I was offered to try this product for free for 10 days, which included a membership in the mineral elements cosmetic club; all that was required was for me the potential customer to pay shipping and handling. After the free trial My understanding is if the customer has 10 days to try the product the trial date starts when the customer receives the product and not when the company sends the product to the customer. I call the company to inform them (Elysia #1086) that I am canceling my membership and sending back the trial product, which was not used. I asked for the RMA number which is needed to return the product and was told that my account has been debited 130.41 and that even when I return the product I would not be receiving my money back. I asked to speak with the manager Elysia #1086 stated she would try and find someone, however, there was not a supervisor or manager on hand to address my complaint. I believed that this company is operating just under the law and need to be stopped. They have scammed me and I believe they have scammed countless other people. I want my money back.

can't get # back
I requested a trial offer, paid the shipping. Nowhere did it tell me what the automatic cost would be after 10 days. Those 10 days start in their warehouse so by the time you receive the product, most of your trial period is gone. I didn't want it, tried to a return # to return it and was advised by trial period was over and I could not return it. The girl on the phone, Ashley, was extremely rude. I tried calling again and spoke with Wendy. They won't hear no. I mailed that trial shipment back, return number or not. I'm sure it is back in their warehouse awaiting shipment to their next victim. They are refusing to return my funds, funds I was not aware of and did not approve. I asked for a supervisor and conveniently there were none to speak with. I'm not done fighting this scam but I wanted to get my complaint in. They are Mineral Elements and their phone # is 888-649-1878 and they are located in Allentown, PA.

Makeup
I ordered the trial shipment of this makeup. I did not like it and it broke my face out. It only was supposed to be the price of shipping. But little did I know that this was a scam! I cancelled my membership and then was deducted $90.41 from my debit card for this product. I called customer service and they told me that when I cancelled my membership I did not ask for a return package to send the makeup back. They said that I was too late to cancel. My account had been deducted that morning before I cancelled that afternoon. They will not refund my money and I am stuck with this worthless makeup that I don't like. Here is some advice for all consumers. Don't fall for the trial offer pricing of products, because if you are not satisfied, they will still charge you and claim that you are too late to cancel your membership. This product is not worth the cost, and it does not work well for your skin. Bad service and bad products!

false ad on price
while i was online doing a survey one of the things was to try some of there offers so I seen the ad for mineral elements and seen that it was only $1 for a sample offer so I thought I'd try it to see if it really worked but no where on the ad did it say I would be enrolled into the mineral elements club and after a 10 day trail I'd be charged $90+ so I called in to cancle my membership and was told I was a day late on cancelling and would not recieve a refund but I'd no longer would be charged for anymore products I need help getting my money back

fraud
i agree with all of you, i had a horrible encounter with there customer service department. the person i spoke with was very rude and when i asked to speak with a supervisor i was placed on hold for 20 minutes. when the so called supervisor came to the line she was as rude as the first lady. how am stuck paying 65.00 half of the amount they took from my account for a product that was never ordered by me. i am not sure how they got my information but they don't have half of it correct. the only part that is right is my account # if this is how they do things there i will be sure to let everyone know about the way this company does business.

charged $90.00 for make-up trial
Ordered a trial make-up kit, which consisted of three brushes and four tiny cintainers of make-up and a nice little bag to put it in. I was charge $90.41 out of my checking account. Then charged another $58.82 for the next shipment. I called them and cancelled the membership, am suppose to be refunded the $58.82 when I return the next shipment. They won't refund the $90.41. I did not know the trial kit was going to cost that kind of money, I thought it was a $1.00 plus shipping. No where in the fine print did it say anything about $90.41. What a scam and rip off. I'm calling my lawyer and the BBB.

fraudulent advertising
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!
I did this trial as part of an offer from a company I trust. I read the terms and agreements and had the understanding that I had 10 days to try the product before cancelling my membership. I received the product on the 20th, they say I received it on the 16th, and I cancelled on the 27th having tried only twice during that week. I noticed however that I had a charge of $90.41 on my card on the 24th. I emailed customer service on the 27th about the charge receiving the next day a confirmation of my shipment. It was the first one I had seen. I called customer service that evening, the 28th, and was told that my trial period was 10 days from their shipping date, the 12th, which according to her meant my trial period ended on the 22nd. In order to cancel my membership and have not other charge than the shipping, I would have had to return the product and cancelled by the 22nd, according to them.
When I explained that this was not the way I understood the trial to be based on what I had read, the customer service rep had me read the email I only received on the 28th having me go down to the returns and refund policy, the first I had seen this part of the agreement. I stated clearly that I had to have returned the product as well as cancelled within 10 days of their shipping to me. This is during peak holiday shipping and nothing has mailed faster than a week unless overnighted. They were unwilling to make any concessions. I am still shipping the product back. I will continue to fight to get a refund, even if I have to go to my bank and work with them to stop these guys.

Sometime in September I purchased some mineral powder face makeup for $3.99. It was a kit to begin with. I didn't realize that I had to cancel before a certain time period. But when I checked my bank statement and realized that they had withdrawled $130.00 out of my account I was very upset so I called to ask why they didn't tell me that I was suppose to call to cancel. I told the lady that was the reason for the call she said that it was to late. I asked her then if you are taking that much out why wont you just send me the products. She replyed that she couldn't. I don't think that it is fair to me that I wasn't given any notice. I asked for my money back but they refused to return it. It had to do with a prize of a gift card. Please help me because I don't think its fair the way they scam people. Thank you kindly for your time.
