PRO LASH TRAIL ORDER
I received a trail order in the mail today from Minerial Science? I saw this charge on the bank statement also, which I turned into my Bank for Fraudulent charges. Somehow my credit card is being used without my knowledge for things such as this. I did not order the trail I do not want the product and would never use this product because I am not a user of lash inhancers. I have tried to email directly to this company to no avail, I have tried their phone number and all I get is a recording that the number cannot be completed as dailed!! The number I have called in vain is 866-363-6797 - it is on the invoice and on their website. I want my money returned to my checking account - and in 14 days they from their paperwork states that they will take out another $119. Well good luck due to the fraudulent charges my account has been closed. Is this company that desperate for funds that that take advantage of older folks just trying to survive in this economy. I know that $7.99 might not mean much to PRO LASH - Minerial Science but it is a weeks work of food for me. Please help me get my money back and remove my information from anything to do with this company. Thank you Anna Wilkins

will not return money
I ordered a free sample on trial, I received it just about too late for the 14 day trial offer time. I called to cancel. I sent back the product. They say that they did not receive it and I need a tracking number to prove I sent it. I was not told that I had to have a tracking number when I canceled. They charged 79.95 to my charge card. I noticed from other complaints and there are many, that other were charged different amounts for this same scam. I am going to report to the BBB.

Fraudulent Offer
horrible experience, they made it sound like you could get a trial product by only paying shipping and then once you checked out, you received a confirmation e-mail saying they had automatically signed you up for an expensive program where they ship you mineral makeup every week and charge your credit card. very poor business.

Unauthorized charges
Beware Mineral Science, only after your money!!!
I ordered a 'free' trial offer online, paying the postage. Our mail is only through our post office box and, due to an obvious mix-up, the package that arrived several days after the order was placed never got to me. I only knew the package was at the post office because my credit card account was charged $59.99 and no product had been received for the 'free trial.'
I called the company and spoke with a representative who said to just send it back. I also found out at that time that this company is fully integrated into the practice of ripping off customers by:
Higher level 'supervisor' is ALWAYS out to lunch when you call.
1. Terms of 'free 14 day trial' are not disclosed until after the product is ordered. The company is betting on consumers to not fully read their confirmation email that states - for the first time - that the '14 day' free trial starts when the order is Placed with them, not when the product is shipped or received by the customer. My package arrived at our post office approximately 10 days after the order was placed. Obviously a '14 day' free trial was not the intent of this 'offer.' I was told by the postal clerk who returned my unopened package that the company sends the product in the slowest method available from the post office.
2. The company has set up a system to keep your money and lie to you about how the product is to be 'returned.' I was told to 'just ship it back' and mark 'return to sender' on package if I could find it in our post office.
3. I went to the post office on November 4, 2008. The clerk found the package, marked it 'refused' and sent it on it's way back to the company.
4. I have called four times and spoken to Colleen, Melissa and possibly one other person to get my $59.99 refunded. They claim they haven't received the package back as of November 26, 2008. Oh come ON!!!
5. I believe Colleen said she would refund my money after they received the package back. Of course, now they haven't received it. Oh, do I have a shipping #? No, they told me what to do and I did it.
6. Melissa is authorized to give me a partial refund of $24.00 even though she claims the company hasn't received my package. I said no and told her she and her company were liers and had set up their systems to defraud consumers, misleading them in their advertising and stealing their money.
I will see if they refund my money. If not, I can get it back through my credit card company. However, I may never get this money back at this point.
I want to warn everyone that this company and many others like it have found a way to do business through MSN offers with the intent to steal as much money from the consumer as possible. I will never purchase anything online again.

Fraud
I was told that I could get a FREE trial of Purity Mineral Collection but
I had to pay $1.00 plus shipping of $7.95. I placed the trial order on
11-06-08. I did not receive the order until 11-15-08. I was shocked
to read an enclosed small print "Trial Information" insert which
only then informed me of "additional demands". In this insert, it
is stated you have a 14 day trial. I was shocked to not only read
this misleading "come-on" but extremely dismayed to find out
that they had already deducted $59.99 from my debit account.
I want the $59.99 refunded immediately to my account. I am not
clear what branch of consumer watchdog group can put a stop
to this and/or facilitate a speedy response to the customer's request,
but I do know that there is something fraudulent in this "bait-and-
switch" hidden sales tactics. I want to join in a law suit against
this company. How do I do that?
I'm sorry that so many people have been ripped off by these
unscrupulous business practices. We deserve better than this.
And we, as a consumer, deserve protection --- and immediate
compensation.
