I previously (November 2009) purchased two autogenerators from Calla Breeze which failed miserably in the following ways:
1. The small mini breeze only produced 3 volts, even with winds of 15 mph. Also, that wind speed alone broke one of the "blades" and then the turbine itself. My father even tried to patch it up but he was unsuccesful. This is why the returned merchandise has silicone on it. Such an expensive device should not only work and produce the voltage indicated on your website, but should definately NOT break under the conditions specified.
2.
A.The big turbine (Lilly Elite)only produced a maximum of 24 watts even though in the website it states that it can produce 3400 watts which we never got even close to.
B. When the blades rotate, the turbine is not stable at all and rocks back and forth.
The total cost of these two turbines was $2, 800. We are returning them both becuase they did not meet any of the expectations we had, did not function at all how they were described on the website and manuals and we feel we were cheated out of the money we paid.
Not only that but they took THREE (3) months to send us one of the turbines and after at lesat 12 emails and 15 phone calls (which they NEVER RETURNED) we finally recieved to product only to find that the quality was so poor that we would have to return it.
We have decided NEVER to buy from Calla Breeze again and instead are using other companies for the merchandise we need.
