I having a good grade of hair that I took pride in the fact that it was thick and longer after not cutting as I usually do. My problem was that in order for me to get and go I decided to get micro braids. I walked in and was told to look in the book and see what style you want. I did and was told to go and buy hair and come back. I returned and asked if I bought the right hair and was told yes and discovered after they put it in it was the wrong hair for the style I picked from the book. I also discovered they dont style anyway so why ask me to pick a style. I left with a big poofy head of braids a hat couldnt fit on. I had to cut each one that that had blunt ends poking out all over my head. It filled three waste baskets of hair when I was done.
I later decided to have the synthetic hair removed and asked what would it cost to remove it and replace with human hair from the ear down. I wanted to be able to hot curl it when I wanted and keep it from frizzing on me. I was told $75 and was repeated based on me clarifying exactly what I wanted . I returned to get it done and was taken to the hair store to help me buy the right hair. Well once again it was the wrong hair. It would stick to the curlers when I curl it and told me they dont sell curled human hair but they did and this hair % of human hair, this is not the worse.
The thick hair I had and the length was destroyed. I was worked on by three women who made it impossible for me to see myself and what they were doing. They removed the full head and the way they did it was not what a person should do to take out hair. She took a hand full of the braided hair and commence to comb it out until all hair was removed. I notice going to get it washed how choppy my hair looked. Then they begain to start the braiding. I would say "Ouch" and they would not respond until I made them. I asked them to do mini braids because micro would easily pull out because one of mine did . They continued to do micros and in the middle of the job, hit me with the price of $200. Any cosmetologist know that you must quote price before you start not in the middle. I had no choice but to have them finish by paying what was asked.
After it was all done, I noticed the large gaps revealing my scalp and why this time it was thinner than the first. My hair must have been lost and they said human hair is thinner than synthethic hair. I had sores on the back of my neck from braiding tiny little hairs and had to undo several around my temple to relieve the pain of pulling. I left with no style and the wrong hair, hair lost and broken and a cost $125 more than I was told. After speaking to the owner she tried to explain it must of been mis communication and that she would take out the braids at no cost to me. What makes her think I want them to touch my hair. I have yet to settle this and decide which way to go. They need to upgrade their courtesy to customers and be more professional and stop lying. Maybe "Tabatha Salon take Over" needs to visit them. They are pushy and mainly concerned about collecting money rather than the wellfare of the customer.
