To the office of Complaints Department,
I am a customer to the local Sears Department store here in Santa Rosa, California. The reason for this complaint is due to a very abusive, inconsiderate employee by the name of Juan. This employee obviously could care-less about people in general, little lone the work ethics that should be given to each staff member, along with customers.
Yesterday I found myself in a situation where Jaun was the cashier who was handling my transaction, but choose to keep myself along with many other customers waiting in line for 40 minutes. The excuse for this long transaction was due to him insisting that 3 various items were not a certain price, which they were, and each item being different resulted in Jaun phoning the manager at three different times along with the same result. At the end of ringing up all the merchandise he then proceed to deny my Sears credit card saying that it was no good, and for me to go home to call this 800 number, instead he could have given me the phone to speak to the representive then, and there that way I could have in fact bought my merchandise. I did call the 800 number upon arriving at home, and sure enough the person at the billing office said that my Sears credit card is in good standing, and there was no reason for the denial. Due to this I call meanness exhibited from the employee I was late for my own child's birthday party, so now not only was I unable to provide this certain product from Sears that my child has been asking for, for quit some time I feel as if Sear's would most likely benefit from demanding this employee go back into customer service training, or seek employment elsewhere. I have also in the past witnessed this same employee demenstrating the same ill mannered behavior toward various customers. Thank You for your time in reading this complaint, and I do hope you will address this issue. Leah Hernandez.
