DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!! And I cannot stress that enough.

Here's the experience: I went to Mission Dental in July to get my teeth cleaned and three fillings. Dr. Alviri did the fillings pretty quickly. He is not very personable at all and doesn't seem to care about patients, which is sad because his office staff is the opposite.

A few days later I was still in an extreme amount of pain (even more than before the fillings). So I went back to the office to correct it. Dr. Alviri seemed annoyed with having to fix it, and without taking much time continued to numb my mouth (after each numbing I told him that it still hurts - at this point my biggest regret is to not just walk out and never come back). He then drilled into another tooth that didn't even hurt and put a temporary filling. Of course after that, I did not want to come back to have him fix it, so when they called I declined to come back.

Then the office sent me a bill (which was not discussed with me before - they had stated my insurance covered it) so I called to say I would not be paying it. The office manager then asked me to give him another chance, so I reluctantly decided to come in again.

I have NEVER been treated SO HORRIBLY by a medical professional IN MY LIFE!!! He walked into the exam room completely annoyed with having to be there and DO HIS JOB, he then proceeded to tell me that he did not put a temporary filling into my tooth - what?? LOOK OVER YOUR OWN CHARTS before you see a patient. What kind of "Dr." does that?? He then told me he would have to do a root canal. There is no way that he was going to ever touch my teeth.

I am now disputing all of the charges with my insurance and have been assured that it will be handled by them. The office staff has stated that they understand the situation and that they realize that he was rude (the assistant in the exam room with me has stated that she was very sorry and that he was extremely rude). He then decided with his staff not to waive any of the fees (even though he did nothing but cause more pain and make me now go to a different dentist to fix everything he did). They were helpful in getting me my x rays and if it were just the front office staff he may have a good business, but PLEASE...DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!

This was absolutely one of the worst experiences I have had with any medical professional and he has no concept of helping his patients or even reading their charts. It is all about money to him. DO NOT GO HERE!!
