PURCHASED A MITSUBISHI 73" DLP HDTV 02-09-07. The lamp has failed on 04-18-08. Mitsubishi advertised the lamp should last at least 3 to 4 thousand hrs. The bulb burned out at 1, 200 hrs. I paid $468.00 to have the bulb replaced by an authorized technician.
