USP System had a problem around 3 weeks back and the company person took the Unit with them informing us that it will be rectified. After around 3 days they give me a call and asked me to pay for the board as it was fried inside, when i spoke about the warranty they denied first but later they agreed however asking me to pay 50% of the raw material. When ask as to why we need to pay when the unit is under warranty the only answer was that this might have caused because of short in the wire and will not be able to replace the parts until we agree to pay the amount.
I am not able to understand why should i pay when the entire unit is supposed handle such kind of electricity power and the product should be able to sustain such failure.
