Charges

Our checking was debitted for $12.95 for credit monitoringwhich my wife and I did not agree too. Attempted to call the 866-408-4016 that was cited by another complainant but the phone number has been disconnected. My credit Union has been notified, but they have stated it was a debit card purchase and that I need to contact the merchant to stop payment. Since we are unable to reach this merchant it poses a problem to cancel this credit reporting service. So I hope someone can help us with this problem.

Credit Card Charges without Authorization (FRAUD)

Two months in a row now MNI Credit Reporting Services has been charging an OLD Visa account number held with Bank of America in my name for services. The card number was changed three months before the first transaction so I'm not sure how the company gained access to my OLD accout number. 3 times in consecutive days in June 2008 there were charges of $12.95 and now 2 times in the same day of July 2008 for $12.95 each.

I have never visited the company site, nor have I requested services for credit reporting services. I have turned in all 5 charges to the fraud department of BofA. It is absolutely crazy that I have to keep calling every month and have the fraud group at BofA go after the same company for these charges. BofA has corrected the charges on my card, but this company needs STOPPED!

I called the 866-365-8654 number on the statement and all the company wanted to do was get MORE personal data from me...so I refused and let the bank deal with it!
