Avoid them
I purchased a used Ford Ka from this.co.for GBP 1625, - and on delivery the power steering oil level was already below the minimum and when I asked the salesman if this should be topped up he replied that was not necessary and that there was nothing to worry about. However, during the next 10 days I had to top it up twice and a local garage confirmed that the steering was definetely leaking and that a new steering rack would probably be required.. I contacted MNS and returned the car to their premises so that they could rectify the problem.WIthin a few days they telephoned me and confirmed that the car did in fact need a replacement steering rack. I very reluctantly agreed to pay them GBP 325, - for the repair as I needed the car urgently to commute to work. I wanted a local garage to do the work but they would not contribute to the costs if I arranged this. The vehicle was not covered under their so called " 3 month comprehensive warranty for complete peace of mind" as it only covers engine and gearbox- not exactly comprehensive !! They refuse to refund the money paid although it is apparent the the fault was in fact inherent when I first took delivery of the vehicle !! They have offered me a " free service in 1 year " and claim that the actual bill for the repair was GBP480, - and that they contributed GBP 155, - !! MNS also claim that " you can buy with complete confidence we are a family run business " - as you can appreciate I do not agree with this claim!!
