Firstly, while waiting my order, the company had erased their website: www.modernreproductions.com This address automatically forward to similar site in new name, http://famousfurniture.us/home.php They had changed the company name. After they cashed my company's check, we received two chairs only instead of four chairs. And we found that those chairs' quality were really bad in connection between seats and legs. We couldn't assemble them. Also, there were many cigarette holes on bubble sheets that wrapped those chairs. This is one of business attitude that I want to add. I called them several times to claim this matter and a call center girl said that someone would call me back within 48 hours. I never got a returning call. Finally, Brian in administration emailed me to ask me for taking photo for him to see. I did it and emailed photos to him. He said that he is willing to accept cancel when they receive those chairs back to them safely. He didn't admit, didn't mention the photos. That was it! He ignored my emails when I asked him how to return those chairs. I also emailed him to refund of half payment prior to send two chairs to them. He didn't email me at all. I checked a customer copy from a freigt company who delivered two chairs. In the copy, shipper was a different company, SABARE SMC INC. and, no contact information on the copy. I believe Brian has been spending time until we give up. Their response to me was the same as other victims on Rip off Repot that I found. Here is my report as of dated: I placed my order of four chairs / July 21, 2010 I received the confirmation email / July 27 I sent a check in full amount/ July 23 They cashed the check / July 26 We received only two chairs / Aug 4 I call them to claim / Aug 6 I call them again again! I also emailed to admin! I received initial email from Brian in admin / Aug 11 No response from the company
