We were in Myrtle Beach and stopped at a Welcome Center to see what things were available for entertainment. There was only one guy at the front counter and we asked him about places to visit. He said he would get us tickets to several different shows for $10.00 each all we have to do was to go to a Vacation club presentation. We agreed that we would go and left $20.00 deposit on the tickets.

The next day we go to the presentation for Monster Vacations Group, LLC. There are two other couples and we go into a room with dry erase boards showing condos, cruises, and resorts for $299. These are at the more desirable vacation spots. The sales person shows us the listing in the RCI book and how much they cost for the locations we mention. Then he tells us we could have these same accomadation for $299. All we have to do is join the Vacation group and no they are not connected to any time share group. We can book anytime, anywhere that we wish to go. All we have to do is purchase a membership in the club and we will be given access online to recive the discounts from the club. Sounds Good so far. By the way there is a software upgrade fee of $199 per year. We will finance a loan at 0% and will refund your money if you are not happy. Even better now. Just sign all these standard legal forms and oh, you have to sign a software license agreement, and the loan agreement. Thank you for the deposit. Let us know if we can do anything else for you.

Several months later we find that we did NOT purchase a club membership but a Software licence. The Upgrade fee is $299 the first year with a 10% increase every year after. The loan was outsourced to Universal Account Servicing, LLC(rude people). You can NOT book any vacation for $299 other that some place you have never heard of. They refuse to refund our money and will not call us or answer our letters or E-Mails.

They fall right in with all the clubs. Yes, we know we are Stupid People to fall for this scam but how do we get out of it? Any suggestions.
