We also as many others were approached by a gentleman named Brett at our hotel and was promised $100 if we just went and listened to the presentation. He kept telling us that there were no srings attached and we did not have to commit to anything. But however the first thing they asked for was a valid credit card immediatly!! Well when I gave them a card it wasnt good enough cause it was a bank debit/credit card. They wanted a regular credit card. Why?? My bank card works just like a credit card anywhere else what were they trying to do that my bank card would not allow?? I felt very degraded and embarrased because I pay my bills with cash or check and do not have a credit card I was not good enough to even listen to the presentation. The good thing is even though it was very emabrassing at the time at least they did not get any of our hard earned money. Pissed off in Ohio.
