I purchased a bed from Mattress Warehouse in Bowie, Md. on June 3, 2009. That same evening I received a call from Carl, the salesman who sold me the bed and was informed that my bed was not available in the size I ordered because it was discontinued. He told me that I can choose another bed or I can get my money refunded. I chose to have my money refunded. As of now October 12, 2009 my money has not been refunded. Whenever I call and inquire about the status of my refund I keep getting basically the same answer that check will be arriving in about 1 to 2 weeks. As you can see, as of today it still has not come. It is the longest 2 weeks I have ever waited. Again, I called this morning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday October 12, 2009 and was told that my refund was sent to the wrong address, and Mr. Carl assured me that he has given the correct address to whoever it is that is supposed to mail my refund and I should be getting it in about 1 to 2 weeks. I paid by check and I did not tell Mr. Carl that my check will clear in about 1 to 2 weeks. It cleared in the time it is supposed to clear. I don't know what the problem is, but I have been very patient and at this point it is hard to stay patient any more. I live about 5 minutes from the store. Mr. Carl could have my refund mailed to his store and I would gladly pick it up since it seems that my address is so difficult to find. Anyway, I really do hope that this matter gets resolved as as soo n as possible. I would really hate to start legal proceedings, but I need the money . Please help me.
