I purchased the Montel Healthmaster with the 7 year extended warranty about a year ago. A week after I got it the lid broke. Naturally it was the only part of the lid that stopped the entire unit from working. I contacted the Healthmaster Customer Service department and was told a replacement lid would be shipped out immediately. After waiting about 3 months for the part I contacted them and was told it was on it's way. It came about 4 weeks later. About a month ago the motor started making a horrible noise and we could smell the motor burning. Again I contacted the Customer Service department and was told that the Return Merchandise Authorization would be sent out to return the blender and no replacement would be sent until they got the old one back. I understood and told them in 1 month we would be having a big party for my husband's birthday and needed the blender for that event. I was assured that it would be returned by then. I did not receive the RMA for almost 2 weeks. It is 3 days before the party and still no blender. I again called the Customer Service Department and spoke to Anthony. He told me that the blender was still 7 to 10 days away from arriving. I told him that they had over a month to take care of this and I was assured it would arrive. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He asked me why I wanted to talk to his supervisor. I told him it was probably obvious since we just talked for 15 minutes about the fact I did not have my blender. He said that I couldn't talk to a supervisor that I could only sent a complaint by mail. DO NOT PURCHASE A MONTEL HEALTHMAST BLENDER. It is not worth the hastle. Sorry Montel I really like you but your company does not back up what you sell.
